SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATION OF A FLEXIBLE FUEL COMBUSTOR
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods that are useful for controlling one or more aspects of a power production plant. More particularly, the disclosure relates to power production plants and methods of carrying out a power production method utilizing different fuel chemistries. Combustion of the different fuel mixtures can be controlled so that a defined set of combustion characteristics remains substantially constant across a range of different fuel chemistries.
GAS BURNER SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A system for use with a fired vessel of production/separators or dehydration equipment that includes a metal box, a main burner, a pilot burner, and a flame arrestor. The main burner and the pilot burner are within the metal box and the first flame arrestor is connected to the metal box.
AUTOMATIC AIR-FLOW SETTINGS IN COMBUSTION SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Systems and methods iteratively solve a fired-systems model of the process heater based on fuel information, a target heat release of the plurality of burners, ambient air information, and available airflow at each of the plurality of burners to identify optimized burner air register settings to achieve a target global excess oxygen level to be sensed by the oxygen sensor. The optimized burner air register settings may be output to a heater controller of the process heater for control of the process heater.

Trash burning receptacle
A trash burning receptacle is fashioned as a cast iron material of construction with a venting lid, an access door, and a removable tray. The receptacle is configured to be submerged in the earth with a restricting enclosure surrounding it.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTENDING THE TURNDOWN RATIO OF GAS-FIRED BURNER SYSTEMS
The disclosed technology includes a device for extending the turndown ratio of a gas-fired burner system. The device can comprise a variable area device configured reduce the amount of fuel and air passed to the burner during low output conditions by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the passage between the blower and the burner. The variable area device can be controlled by an actuator that adjusts the position of the variable area device. The actuator can be manually controlled, mechanically controlled, or electronically controlled.
Fuel-operated vehicle heating device and method to operating a fuel-operated vehicle heating device
A method to operate a fuel-operated vehicle heater comprising the lowering of a combustion air ratio λ between supplied combustion air and supplied fuel to a combustion chamber of the fuel-operated vehicle heater from a starting value λ.sub.start>1 to a range λ<λ.sub.start for a time period Δt.
Control method for the operation of a combustion boiler
The invention is in the field of boiler control and relates to a control method for the operation of a combustion boiler, comprising providing a predetermined upper limit (VF,max) for the flue gas velocity in at least one location of the boiler; monitoring the flue gas velocity (VF) during the combustion of fuel in said at least one location of the boiler; comparing the flue gas velocity (VF) with the predetermined upper limit (VF,max); decreasing the thermal load of the boiler if the flue gas velocity exceeds the predetermined upper limit (VF,max). The invention also relates to a control system configured to execute the control method.
MONITORING OPACITY OF SMOKE EXHAUSTED BY WOOD STOVE AND CONTROLLING WOOD STOVE BASED ON SAME
A wood stove monitoring and control device can include a mounting flange mountable to a chimney exhaust pipe of a wood stove. The device can include a ring removably mountable on top of the mounting flange, where the flange is suitably positioned vertically along the exhaust pipe so that the ring is positioned at least partially above an end of the exhaust pipe. The device includes an optical beam source disposed on the ring, and which generates and outputs an optical beam. The device includes an optical sensor positioned on the ring opposite the optical beam source to detect the optical beam output by the optical beam source as the optical beam passes through smoke exhausted by the wood stove through the exhaust pipe. The device can include a temperature probe disposed on the ring to measure a temperature of heat exhausted by the wood stove through the exhaust pipe.
