FOAM SEAT WITH REMOVABLE NESTING INSERT
A foam-based seat and an enclosure for a foam-based seat is provided. The foam-based seat includes a base, main body, a cutout opening formed in the main body, fitted fabric configured to encase the main body, and a removable nesting insert configured to friction fit within the cutout opening. The removable nesting insert can be inserted into the cutout opening, or removed, to provide a myriad of seating arrangements. The foam-based seat may constitute a variety of geometries, including one embodiment that is square with a square removable nesting insert, and another embodiment that is round with an expanded base and a circular nesting insert. The enclosure for a foam-based seat includes a rigid frame with two ends, an internal opening configured to circumscribe a foam-based seat, and a shelving unit that extends from the two ends of the rigid frame.
Furniture storage base
A modular furniture assembly includes a transverse member and a base member. The base member includes a base frame having a bottom panel and side panels, each of the side panels having an upper chamfered edge. The base member also includes a storage cavity at least partially defined by the bottom panel and the side panels and a lid configured to be selectively mounted on the base frame such that the lid covers the storage cavity.
Wearable Chair with Truss Structure
Proposed is a wearable chair with a truss structure, the wearable chair including: an upper rod extending in a longitudinal direction thereof and connected to a wearer's thigh; a lower rod extending in a longitudinal direction thereof and connected to a lower leg of the wearer, the lower rod being coupled to a lower end part of the upper rod at an upper end part of the lower rod and being in contact with the ground at a lower end part of the lower rod when the wearer sits; and a support rod slidably coupled to the upper rod at an upper end part of the support rod and rotatably coupled to the lower rod at a lower end part of the support rod to support a compression force between the upper rod and the lower rod in a longitudinal direction of the support rod when the wearer sits.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL LEISURE, VOCATIONAL, AND ENTERTAINMENT DEVICE
A multifunctional furniture device that may simultaneously serve gaming, vocational, and lounging purposes is provided. The system generally comprises a framework, opening mechanism, platform, and seat. A user may alter the position of the various piece of the framework to create different furniture types. An opening mechanism of the device allows the pieces of the frame to move about one another and into different positions. A computing device, input device, and display may be incorporated into the device to allow the user to perform vocational and entertainment activities when the device is placed in one position and may then be completely hidden within an internal cavity of the device when placed in a different position.

Multi-mode portable collapsible chair with multipurpose accessory bag
Various systems and methods relate to an adaptive chair system having (i) a stowed mode in which members of the chair frame are compactly contained within a multi-function bag (MFB), and (ii) a deployed mode in which the multi-purpose chair is configured to transition between at least two seating modes. In an illustrative example, the chair may be provided with an adaptive frame which may be reconfigured to transition between the seating modes. For example, the chair may transition between any of a vertical/upright (chair) mode (e.g., FIG. 8B), a vertical/upright (chair) mode using trek pole handle segment(s) (e.g., FIG. 1C), a low-profile/recon (seat) mode (e.g., FIG. 2B), and a longitudinal/lounge mode (e.g., FIG. 2B). Various embodiments may advantageously provide an adaptive chair system in an ultralight form factor which may fulfill multiple functions including, by way of example and not limitation, seating, sun/rain canopy, footrest, or some combination thereof.
