Systems and methods for providing a convertible cupholder
A convertible cupholder device that is configured to have a cupholder element of the device be selectively rotated and/or otherwise be moved between a variety of positions is described. As a result of its construction, when the convertible cupholder is coupled to a movable object (e.g., a pivoting member of a convertible bench), the cupholder element can be moved to and/or be retained in one or more desired positions (e.g., an upright position) when the movable object is pivoted and/or otherwise moved through a range of motion. Other implementations are described.
Convertible furniture system
A convertible furniture system or futon includes a convertible frame assembly that is mountable in an interior space and is deployable between a bench configuration and a flat, bed configuration. The frame assembly includes a back frame and a bottom frame that are pivotably coupled together and coordinate to form either the bench configuration that provides a user an upright seat or the bed configuration that provides the user a flat, substantially horizontal bed to lie down on. A user can maneuver the system from the bench configuration into the bed configuration and vice versa. The system may be installed inside of various interior living quarters, including inside of mobile vehicles. The system includes various support elements mounted to the interior space, the support element may be selectively engaged to support the system in the bed or bench configurations and during deployment and stowage of the system.

Soft seating convertible chair
A modular Soft Seating Convertible Chair is provided comprising a body having a seat attached to a back side, a plurality of zippers and at least two webbing straps attached at opposite ends of the body. The Soft Seating Convertible Chair can be converted into a chair or a table by configuring embedded common zippers to employ the convertible feature according to the individual needs and circumstances. The Soft Seating Convertible Chair is made of shredded foam inside the body in order to achieve an optimal balance between comfort and support for the end user. The Soft Seating Convertible Chair further comprises internal baffles to create chambers for the shredded foam. Foam material used with the modular Soft Seating Convertible Chair can be compressed during product shipment, thereby allowing the Soft Seating Convertible Chair to be packed tightly in a shipping container (e.g., a carton) without impacting the functionality of the finished product.
Modular furniture with replaceable panels
An article of furniture including a base, a plurality of panels forming an outer surface of the article of furniture, and a plurality of struts for securing the panels in place. The base has an outer periphery which is securable to at least some of the panels. The base is configured for placement on a floor surface. Further, each strut has an elongated member configured for securement to at least two adjacent panels which are oriented in different planes from one another. The adjacent panels are secured to the respective struts with removable fasteners.
FURNITURE SPRING SYSTEM
A furniture spring system includes a lid configured to provide a seating surface. The lid includes a frame having two opposing frame members and a retention member associated with at least one of the two opposing frame members. The furniture spring system further includes a slat extending between the two opposing frame members. The slat includes a plurality of slat portions adjustably coupled to each other, such that a total length of the slat is adjustable.
Stowable seat base
The seat base may include a frame with a polygonal geometry, a first leg assembly hingedly coupled to the frame, and a second leg assembly hingedly coupled to the frame. The seat base may also include a first leg hingedly coupled to the frame, a second leg hingedly coupled to the frame, and a cross member coupled to the first leg and the second leg. A guide may protrude from the frame. The guide may define a recess. A retention pin may engage the recess and retain the first leg assembly in a deployed position. The frame may also have quadrilateral perimeter. The seat base may further include an interior cross member fixedly coupled to the frame, and a pin protruding from the cross member. The pin may engage a seat. A loop may extend from the frame and engage the seat.
TRANSFORMABLE CHAIR AND BACKPACK ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE
A transformable floor chair has a seat and a back. The seat has straps for carrying the chair when transformed into a transportation configuration. The straps are located on the underside of the seat when in a deployed configuration. A backpack including zippered enclosure is affixed to the rear of the floor chair back. The backpack remains usable and functional when in either the transportation configuration or the deployed configuration. When transformed into the transportation configuration, the upper portion of the seat is secured to the front face of the chair back, thereby sandwiching the chair between the straps and the backpack.
