Each pair of interlockable connectors includes (i) a female bracket defining a bracket channel extending along a channel axis oriented generally vertically, and (ii) a male bracket having a slide member slidable into the bracket channel generally along the channel axis for interlocking thereof.

When transformed into the transportation configuration, the upper portion of the seat is secured to the front face of the chair back, thereby sandwiching the chair between the straps and the backpack.
