PORTABLE IGNITION SYSTEM
A portable ignition system ignites flammable materials at a burn pit. The system includes a portable ignition system control panel with a pilot on/off indicator, a system control module, and an operator input device. The system has a fuel gas source plumbed to a pilot gas tube. The system also has an inert gas source plumbed to the pilot gas tube. The system is electrically powered by a power supply, solar panels, and/or batteries. The system has a high energy ignition system connected to the igniter and located near the pilot gas tube outlet to ignite the fuel gas. The system also has a monitored subsystem that detects parameters of operation of the portable ignition system.
BURNER FOR GENERATING A FLAME FOR THE COMBUSTION OF PROCESS GAS AND EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT DEVICE WITH A BURNER
The invention relates to a burner as well as to a waste gas treatment device for generating a flame for the combustion of process gas, especially of contaminants, in a combustion chamber, in each case having feed lines for a fuel gas and for an oxidizing agent so that they flow into a pre-mixing chamber, and having an ignition device for igniting the gas mixture contained in the pre-mixing chamber. According to the invention, a sensor for detecting and/or monitoring the flame is provided on the burner, especially at one end of the burner situated opposite from the pre-mixing chamber.
Ignition device for a gas cooking appliance
The present invention relates to an ignition device for a gas cooking appliance, the ignition device comprising at least one ignition device module (10, 10A, 10B) with a primary voltage input terminal (20), a transformer, and at least one secondary voltage output terminal (24, 24A, 24B). The transformer is adapted to transform a primary voltage applied to the primary voltage input terminal into a secondary voltage at the secondary voltage output terminal, and the secondary output terminal is adapted to be connected to a spark electrode. According to the invention the ignition device module (10, 10A, 10B) further comprises a primary voltage output terminal (22).

FIRE STARTER
A fire starter includes a casing made from a first material a first material having a first time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the casing burns after being ignited. A second material disposed in the casing has a second time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the second material burns after being ignited. An igniter, disposed in the casing and adjacent to the second material, generates a first thermal event to ignite the second material wherein the second material combusts to define a second thermal event that ignites the first material. An actuator is coupled to the igniter and is positioned outside of the casing for activating the igniter to generate the first thermal event.
