GAS APPLIANCE IGNITION MODULE
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an ignition control module for a gas appliance. The housing of the ignition control module, and/or the mounting points for mounting the module to a gas appliance, can be configured to dispose the battery in a manner that provides for potential battery leakage to flow away from most operable components of the module. Further, the ignitor connection terminals can be configured to provide for ease of connection, by providing a connector guide disposed in a cylindrically-shaped terminal housing. Additionally, an ignitor actuator terminal can be configured to selectably engage with an ignitor actuator connector, where the ignitor actuator terminal comprises at least two connector points that engage with a single ignitor actuator connector.
PORTABLE BIOMETRIC LIGHTER
A portable biometric lighter device (100) generally involving a control unit (210), a biometric sensor, such as a fingerprint sensor (140), wherein the biometric sensor is configured to scan a biometric data of a user and is operably coupled to the control unit (210), and an ignition element, wherein the ignition element is activated by the control unit (210) upon a match of the scanned biometric data of the user and a biometric data of an authorized user that is stored in a memory device.
Spark-based combustion test system
A combustion test system includes a power source and a corona generator coupled to the power source. The combustion test system also includes a charge storage device. The charge storage device includes a charging surface spaced apart from the corona generator such that charge carriers, motivated by an electric field of the corona generator, intersect the charging surface to charge the charge storage device. The combustion test system also includes a first electrode coupled to the charge storage device and a second electrode coupled to a reference ground. The second electrode is spaced apart from the first electrode to produce an electrical arc between the first electrode and the second electrode based on a voltage difference between the first electrode and the second electrode.
Portable flame propelling device
A portable flame propelling device for deterring an attack by an animal includes a vessel, which has an opening positioned in a top thereof for positioning of a flammable liquid therein. A handle engaged to the vessel and extending from the opening can be grasped in a hand of a user. A nozzle is engaged to the handle and extends therefrom. A pumping unit operationally engaged to and in fluidic communication with the nozzle and the vessel propels the flammable liquid from the vessel through the nozzle. An igniter engaged to the handle proximate to the nozzle ignites the flammable liquid. An actuator engaged to the handle is operationally engaged to the pumping unit and the igniter. The actuator can be engaged by a digit of the hand of the user to selectively actuate the pumping unit and the igniter so that a flame is propelled from the nozzle.
Thermite Bag For Chemical / Biological Agent Munition And Hazardous Waste Disposal System
An aspect of the present disclosure relates to a thermite bag, which may be used for the disposal of hazardous material. The thermite bag includes a sealable exterior pouch, a sealable interior pouch receivable within the exterior pouch, a thermite charge receivable within the sealable interior pouch and an igniter wire contacting thermite within the thermite charge. The thermite bag also includes a power supply electrically coupled to the ignitor wire and a trigger electrically coupled to the ignitor wire and power supply. In addition, the thermite bag includes a vent including a filter, wherein the vent is coupled to the sealable exterior pouch.

Additionally, an ignitor actuator terminal can be configured to selectable engage with an ignitor actuator connector, where the ignitor actuator terminal comprises at least two connector points that engage with a single ignitor actuator connector.
Gas flare useful for combusting landfill gas emissions
A gas flare apparatus includes a burner tube that receives combustible gas and includes (a) a burner tube outer perimeter defined by a burner tube outer diameter and (b) a burner tube inner perimeter defined by a burner tube inner diameter. An updraft shield is concentric with the burner tube and extends outwardly relative to the burner tube outer perimeter to an updraft shield outer perimeter. A windshield tube is concentric with the burner tube and has a windshield tube inner diameter that is larger than the burner tube outer diameter. The windshield tube is positioned above the updraft shield. A cover plate spaced apart from and covering an upper opening of the windshield tube.

IMPROVED IGNITER VALVE
Apparatus for igniting a burner of a barbeque includes a housing, a mesh, an orifice, a pair of conductors and a generator. The housing defines a conduit having an inlet and an outlet spaced apart from the inlet. The mesh occludes the conduit and is positioned adjacent the outlet. The orifice is for receiving combustible gas and communicates with the inlet. The pair of conductors define a gap, the gap being positioned such that the gap is disposed in spaced relation to the mesh and the mesh is disposed intermediate the orifice and the gap. The generator is for producing a spark across the gap.
