Hydrogen gas burner
11428405 · 2022-08-30 · ·

The hydrogen gas burner has a first pipe extendable into an oven chamber, having a plurality of through-holes in a sidewall thereof, fluidly communicating an interior of the first pipe with an exterior thereof. A combination gas valve and pressure regulator is connected to an inlet of the first pipe and fluidly connects a hydrogen gas source with the first pipe, such that the hydrogen gas flows into the first pipe and exits therefrom through the through-holes. An igniter ignites and initiates combustion of the exiting hydrogen gas. A second pipe is extendable into the oven chamber, having apertures in the sidewall thereof fluidly communicating an interior of the second pipe with an exterior thereof. The second pipe fluidly connects at an inlet thereof with an air source, whereby the air flows into the second pipe from the inlet thereof and exits out of the second pipe through the apertures.

Gas appliance ignition module

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an ignition control module for a gas appliance. The housing of the ignition control module, and/or the mounting points for mounting the module to a gas appliance, can be configured to dispose the battery in a manner that provides for potential battery leakage to flow away from most operable components of the module. Further, the ignitor connection terminals can be configured to provide for ease of connection, by providing a connector guide disposed in a cylindrically-shaped terminal housing. Additionally, an ignitor actuator terminal can be configured to selectably engage with an ignitor actuator connector, where the ignitor actuator terminal comprises at least two connector points that engage with a single ignitor actuator connector.

Ignition switch assembly

An ignition switch assembly is configured to be operatively connected to a gas valve. The ignition switch assembly may include a first ignition contact and a second ignition contact. The first and second ignition contacts may be sized and shaped the same. A hub may be configured to be rotated within the ignition switch assembly. A rotation of the hub in a first direction causes a portion of the first ignition contact to engage the second ignition contact. Further rotation of the hub in the first direction or rotation of the hub in a second direction that is opposite from the first direction causes the portion of the first ignition contact to disengage from the second ignition contact.

Flexible gas pipe ignitor

A gas pipe ignitor for igniting a non-premixed air and fuel mixture includes a housing having an axially interior space along its length, a supply end segment, a flame end segment axially spaced from the supply end segment, and a flexible segment spaced between the supply end segment and the flame end segment. A fuel supply conduit extends axially within the housing, and the fuel supply conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An ignition conduit extends axially within the housing, and the ignition conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. A detector conduit extends axially within the housing, and the detector conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An air supply conduit is operatively connected to the housing at the supply end segment and provides combustion air within the interior space.

TOOL WITH IMPROVED IGNITION EFFICIENCY

A tool includes a barrel, a guiding wire, and an electrically conductive member. The barrel is made of electrically conductive material. The guiding wire is disposed in the barrel. The barrel and the guiding wire are directly or indirectly connected to two opposite electrodes of a power source. The electrically conductive member is connected to an outer periphery of the guiding wire and is electrically connected to the guiding wire. The electrically conductive member is disposed between the barrel and the guiding wire and is spaced from the barrel. When the power source is activated, an electric arc is generated between the electrically conductive member and the barrel.
