MOVEMENT PROVIDING SYSTEM
A motorized movement providing system for use during sexual intercourse is provided. The movement providing system is preferably portable and designed to be placed under the lower back and/or buttocks of an individual engaged in sexual intercourse. The system includes a padded exterior body configured with an internal motor that extends and subsequently lowers the upper surface of the system continuously up and down to provide the required movement for the activity. In this way, the system may enable fatigued persons and/or persons with disabilities or lower back pain to engage in sexual intercourse by providing the required motion.
INFANT FLOAT
This application relates to inflatable flotation devices that support an infant, and having first, second and third inflatable members. The first member has an outer and an inner perimeter and a first and second diameters at first and second end portions. The second member is at least partially within the inner perimeter of the first member. At least a portion of the upper surface of the second member is recessed with respect to an upper surface of the first member. The third member has an inner perimeter disposed about at least a portion of the outer perimeter of the first member. The third member has a maximum height, when inflated, that is less than the maximum height of the first member, at least a portion of the inner perimeter of the third member being spaced apart from the outer perimeter of the first member.
Methods for improving uptake of botulinum neurotoxin
Methods for increasing specific uptake of a Botulinum neurotoxin are provided. Specific neurotoxin uptake by cells capable of being intoxicated by Botulinum neurotoxin is enhanced by increasing temperature from about 37° C. to up to about 41° C., as indicated by a decrease in the EC.sub.50 found for cells so treated. The effect requires the presence of both heavy and light chains of the Botulinum neurotoxin, and is serotype selective.
Lovemaking apparatus for the disabled with pivoting tabletop platform and pivoting wheelchair seat
The lovemaking apparatus includes a table having a slidable platform pivotally mounted in a U-shaped opening defined in an end of the table and a wheelchair having a chair assembly that is pivotally mounted on a wheelchair frame. The wheelchair may be rolled to the platform end of the table so that the seat and leg rest portion of the chair assembly is below the free end of the platform, linear actuators may be actuated to pivot the platform at an angle using switches mounted at the platform end of the table, and the platform may be slid downward towards the seat of the chair assembly of the wheelchair. Linear actuators mounted on the wheelchair frame may be actuated to tilt the back of the chair assembly rearward and raise the seat of the chair assembly upward to position partners for sexual relations.
Chair guide
The invention relates to a device (5) for supporting and for movably guiding a chair (6) in a slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2), which is provided in a housing (7) and is designed as an elongated hole guide, having a carriage (10) that can be moved in the slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2) and supports a chair receptacle (9) of the chair (6). In order to be able to use this device in a more varied manner, according to the invention, the slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2) has at least two slotted guide tracks (13, 14), between which an adjustable track switch (12) is provided in order to transfer the chair (6) out of the one slotted guide track (13) into the other slotted guide track (14), and vice versa.
Ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces
An ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces is disclosed. The method, in some cases, includes the steps of: a) providing a support structure that is generally in the configuration of a rectangular prism having six faces, a length, width, and a height in which the length, width, and height differ from one another so that the structure provides three different height positions when the support structure is placed on the floor of the workspace; b) placing the support structure with one of its faces in contact with a contoured floor surface in a confined work space; and c) sitting or standing on the support structure.
BUOYANT POOL LOUNGE CHAIR FRAME AND BUOYANT POOL LOUNGE CHAIR USING THE SAME
A buoyant pool lounge chair frame and buoyant pool lounge chair using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair for supporting a person while the buoyant pool lounge chair is floating in water, frame members collectively form at least one of a seat frame, a leg frame, a back frame, a left arm frame, and a right arm frame. The frame members include multiple frame segments which are steel coated with a first vinyl polymer coating to provide steel-to-vinyl contact. Buoyant cushions are attached to the frame members. The buoyant cushions are coated with a second vinyl polymer coating. An adhesive coating is interposed between the first vinyl polymer coating and the buoyant cushions.
Photographing Seat Assembly
A photographing seat assembly for taking passport photos of a child includes a seat in which a child can be positioned. A base engaged to a bottom of the seat can be positioned on a substantially horizontal surface so that the seat is supported upon the base. A panel engaged to a back of the seat provides a background for a photograph of the child positioned in the seat.
Modular seat with cable tensioning system
A modular seat assembly includes a seat frame, a modular seat component for engaging the seat frame including a mounting bracket, a cable routed towards the frame and engaged with the mounting bracket, and a cable tensioning system. The cable tensioning system is configured to tighten the cable into a tensioned state and release the cable into a slacked state. In the tensioned state, the modular seat component is secured to the seat frame via engagement of the cable with the mounting bracket, and in the slacked state, the modular seat component is releasable from the cable via disengagement of the cable from the respective mounting bracket.
