PELLET BURNER
20220214040 · 2022-07-07 · ·

A pellet burner includes: a burner body having a combustion chamber and an open top; a feed opening at a sidewall of the burner body; a through port under the burner body; and a grate structure above the through port and including two tiers of supports both secured to the burner body. Supports in the first tier are lower than the adjacent supports in the second tier. The second tier of supports are staggered with the first tier. A passage is between the two tiers of supports. The passage is narrower than a diameter D of the pellet fuel. A spacing between two adjacent supports in the second tier is greater than D but smaller than 2D. The feed opening is above the grate structure by no less than 3D. The pellet fuel drops from the feed opening. Air entering via the through port disperses the burnt pellet fuel ash.

CABINET CIRCULATOR SOLID FUEL HEATER COMBUSTION SYSTEM
20220268445 · 2022-08-25 ·

A solid fuel burning cabinet circular heating appliance achieves improved emissions performance by providing a secondary air combustion path that preheats secondary combustion air. The firebox is selectively insulated such that areas of the firebox that do not preheat combustion air retain heat in the firebox while areas of the firebox that transfer heat into the combustion air transfer heat through the firebox into the incoming combustion air. The exhaust air path from the firebox to a chimney is also uninsulated to allow relatively quick heat transfer into a room in which the appliance is installed

SELF-CLEANING GRILLING DEVICES

A firepot for a grilling device comprises one or more walls at least partially forming an outer boundary of the firepot. The firepot is structurally configured to hold at least partially ignited solid fuel. The firepot also comprises a floor defining, at least in part, a lower end of the firepot. The floor comprises one or more holes extending through the floor. Additionally, a portion of the one or more walls form a solid fuel delivery opening that comprises a solid fuel portal through which solid fuel is deliverable to an interior of the firepot. A heating element mount is positioned to hold a heating element within the interior of the firepot.

Grill apparatus and firebox assembly for use in a grill

A grill apparatus includes a bottom portion, a lid portion, a firebox and an ash bucket. The lid portion is coupled to the bottom portion forming a cooking chamber. The bottom portion receives the firebox. A support structure of the firebox rests on an inner surface of the bottom portion. An inner surface of the bottom port, the support structure of the firebox and a firebox lower opening define a first air path from a lower portion of the cooking chamber to a heat chamber. The ash bucket includes an air vent extending from a base of the ash bucket base into an internal ash receptacle and has an upper vent aperture with a vent cover connected to the air vent. The cover is disposed over an upper vent aperture to further define the first air path.

A portable temperature regulated rotisserie and barbequing apparatus including a substantially cylindrically-shaped housing comprised of a stainless steel and further including a set of carrying handles. The hollow cylindrically shaped housing includes a latching mechanism to releasably secure the planar drip pan at the second end and a centrifugal fan including a plurality of concave blades which increase the volume and air speed to the blades. The spit releasably attached the centrifugal fan and rests on the shaft anchor.

ASH CLEANOUT SYSTEM
20230392791 · 2023-12-07 · ·

A cooking grill with a cooking chamber, pellet fuel combustion unit, and ash cleanout system for releasing retained ash from the combustion unit through an access door without requiring the disassembly of the upper components of the grill. The combustion unit has a first end with a first end opening, and a second end with a second end opening. The ash cleanout system includes an access door adjacent to the second end, operable by a user from a position external to the cooking chamber through a pull link, and capable of a first position wherein the second end opening is closed to generally retain ash within the pellet fuel combustion unit, and a second position wherein the second end opening is open to release the retained ash to a separate removal location.
