COOKTOP APPLIANCE WITH PROTECTED USER DETECTION
A method of operating a cooktop appliance includes receiving an input at a user interface of the cooktop appliance and initiating a cooking operation of the cooktop appliance in response to the input. The method further includes determining, after initiating the cooking operation, whether a protected user is present at the cooktop appliance and an authorized user is absent from the cooktop appliance.
Heater for indoor warming using waste heat of exhaust gas
A fan heater for heating using exhaust waste heat, including: a natural exhaust tube discharging some exhaust gas from a water heater; a forced exhaust tube connected to the natural exhaust tube in a parallel structure, the remaining exhaust gas, excluding naturally discharged exhaust gas, flowing into the forced exhaust tube; a heat exchange device on the upper portion of the forced exhaust tube and supplied with high-temperature exhaust gas; a forced exhaust blower installed on the heat exchange device to draw exhaust gas from the forced exhaust tube and discharge it; a main unit having the heat exchange device embedded therein and having a circulation unit such that low-temperature indoor air circulates into the heat exchange device; a warm-air circulation blower supplying the indoor air towards the outer air circulation unit and circulating the low-temperature indoor air so the exhaust gas exchanges heat; and a control unit.

Griddle and gas burner range having a heat barrier
A griddle and gas burner range, including: a griddle having an electric heating element, and a griddle plate that is disposed over the electric heating element; at least one open top gas burner disposed adjacent to the griddle; and a heat barrier installed between the griddle and the at least one open top gas burner, so as to block the escape of heat from the griddle and into an area of the at least one open top gas burner during operation of the griddle.
HEATING COOKER
A heating cooker for cooking a food ingredient includes a case in which a heating chamber configured to accommodate the food ingredient is defined, a heating unit configured to heat an inside of the heating chamber, a control unit configured to control the heating unit, and a food ingredient temperature detection unit configured to detect, in a contactless manner, a surface temperature of the food ingredient being cooked in the heating chamber. A window member is disposed between the food ingredient temperature detection unit and the heating chamber. The control unit corrects the surface temperature of the food ingredient detected by the food ingredient temperature detection unit, based on at least the temperature of the window member.
STOVE WITH SELF-AIR DRAWING AND HEATING FOR PRIMARY BURN
A stove including spiraling walls to create multiple vertical inlets, spiraling layers of spaces that can self-draw and self-heat the air from outside of the stove into the burn zone, and a rim that covers the top area of the spiraling walls and leaves an opening above the fire. From burning, a convection draft draws air from the side-environment of the stove through the vertical inlets to circulate in the spiraling layered space, and to supply to the fire horizontally. The circling of air will be heated by the fire through conduction and irradiation. This design enables extra heated air directly for an enhanced primary burn. The stove can include side walls of different profiles, e.g., straight, tilted and curved walls and different spiraling profiles of spiraling layered spaces, e.g., linear, exponential, and exponential-polynomial.
Cooking device
A cooking device has, in a cooking chamber thereof, a cooking tray (91) which is to be placed in the heating chamber (2) so as to have a gap against a rear portion (2d) of the heating chamber (2) and on which a heating object (15) to be heated is to be mounted directly or indirectly, a rear blowoff port (29) which is provided in the rear portion (2d) of the heating chamber (2) so as to be positioned on an upper side of the gap and near a rear portion of the cooking tray (91) and which is communicated with a duct (18) so as to allow the heat medium to be blown off into the heating chamber (2), and a flow regulation structure (62) provided on a rear side of the rear blowoff port (29) and arranged to regulate a flow of the heat medium. The flow regulation structure (62) has, on a lower side thereof, a first guide surface (63) extending in a direction generally parallel to a horizontal direction.
