Cooktop having electrically controlled gas flow

Gas cooktops disclosed herein may include a proportional solenoid valve controlling gas flow to a gas burner, where the proportional solenoid valve has a continuously variable range of positions. A user interface (UI) element associated with the proportional solenoid valve may be utilized to control a linear voltage regulator having a continuously variable output voltage. The output voltage of the linear voltage regulator is coupled to a solenoid of the proportional solenoid valve, such that the gas flow to the gas burner has a linear relationship with the output voltage of the linear voltage regulator.

INFRARED STOVE AND INFRARED SPLIT STOVE SET

The application discloses an infrared stove and an infrared split stove set. The infrared stove includes an outer casing, an inner cover, an ejector tube, a gas nozzle and an infrared reaction layer. The inner cover is nested with the outer casing to form a stove body. The infrared reaction layer is provided on the stove body. A first accommodating cavity is provided between the infrared reaction layer and the inner cover. A second accommodating cavity is provided between the inner cover and the outer casing. The ejector tube is arranged on the inner cover, communicates with the first accommodating cavity and the second accommodating cavity, and has a gas inlet. The gas nozzle is arranged on the outer casing, and is arranged opposite to the gas inlet and at a spacing. The infrared stove adopts flameless combustion, with more stability, more resistance to severe environments, and better windproof property.

The present embodiments provide for a stove which may be installed in a countertop mount or recessed configuration. The stove provides an end cap which is connected to or mounted adjacent to a front control panel. In one configuration, the end cap may be utilized in a configuration to receive a portion of the adjacent edges of the countertop. Alternatively, in flush fit configuration, the end caps may be closed so that no opening is clearly shown and the end caps are positioned adjacent to the countertop but do not receive such.

Cooktop appliance with a gas burner

A cooktop appliance includes a user interface, a gas burner, and a temperature sensor. A manually adjustable primary control valve is coupled to the gas burner. A secondary control valve is connected in series between the manually adjustable primary control valve and the gas burner. A controller is in communication with the secondary control valve. The controller is configured to adjust the secondary control valve in response to a user-determined set temperature, a temperature measurement from the temperature sensor, and a determined position of the manually adjustable primary control valve.

Home cooking appliance having a pedestal burner

A home cooking appliance includes a cooktop surface and a gas pedestal burner on the cooktop surface. The gas pedestal burner includes a burner portion having a sidewall, a lower surface facing the cooktop surface, a plurality of burner ports in the sidewall, and a base portion under the burner portion. The base portion elevates the burner portion in a vertical direction above the cooktop surface and has a lower mounting surface disposed on the cooktop surface. An area of a footprint of the lower mounting surface of the base portion is less than an area of a footprint of the lower surface of the burner portion.
