Concealable Electric Fireplace Insert
A combined furniture and heating device having a concealable electric fireplace insert installed within a fireplace compartment of a furniture apparatus is provided. The electric fireplace insert has a front surface from which simulated flames are viewable when an opening of the fireplace compartment is uncovered so that the furniture apparatus is configured in its open configuration. The furniture apparatus includes a concealing panel removably installable over the opening configure the device in a concealed configuration so that the electric fireplace insert and its simulated flames viewable at its front surface are at least partially concealed. Power to a heating apparatus of the electric fireplace insert is turned on and off by a disabling device as the concealing panel is alternated between the open and concealed configurations. The disabling device can include a switch or a thermistor.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance, in particular an induction oven appliance, includes a cavity having a wall, at least one induction heating element, and at least one electrically conductive screening element for screening an electric and/or magnetic field generated by the induction heating element. The induction heating element can be arranged on the wall of the cavity.
BODY CONTACT-TYPE WARMER USING HEAT PIPE
The objective of the present invention is to provide a body contact-type warmer using a heat pipe, the warmer comprising: a heating part, which includes a body having a heat preserving material-filled space, and heat transfer protrusions formed at both sides of the body; a heat pipe embedded in the heating part and having a heater; caps for holding the heat pipe and blocking both ends of the heating part; a pair of heating plate fixing parts having heat transfer protrusions which come in close contact with the heat transfer protrusions of the heating part so as to transfer heat and, simultaneously, are used as connection means; and a heating plate put on the upper ends of the heating part and the heating plate fixing parts. The present invention can provide the body contact-type warmer having effects of: reducing energy and costs by using only one heat pipe; and being easily manufactured and having a simple structure since the heating part is aligned at the center thereof so as to enable heat of the heat pipe to be quickly and continuously transferred, and the heating plate fixing parts capable of heat transfer to the heating part and, simultaneously, being capable of fixing the heating plate are connected to both sides of the heating part so as to enable the heating plate to be heated, and thus the present invention is very useful.

Flame effect device
A flame effect device (18) for a flame simulator apparatus of an electric fire (10) is provided. The flame effect device (18) comprises a spindle (20) having a longitudinal axis which is in-use rotatable in a flame simulator apparatus; and a plurality of reflector supports (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e), each reflector support (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e) comprising: a reflector support body (32) having at least one reflector mounting portion (28) thereon and a mounting aperture (34) to engage the reflector support (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e) with the spindle (20); and at least one reflector (26) to reflect light from an associated light source (24), wherein the at least one reflector (26) is mounted to the at least one reflector mounting portion (28), the plurality of reflector supports (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e) being engageable with the spindle (20), each reflector support (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e) of the plurality of reflector supports (22a,22b,22c,22d,22e) being selectably positionable along the longitudinal axis of the spindle (20).
Flame simulating assembly for simulated fireplaces including a reflecting light system
A flame simulating assembly is provided with a reflected flickering light that includes only one light source. Light from the light source passes through a rotating flicker element onto one or more reflectors, or mirrors, that reflect light up onto a simulated fuel bed and the some of the light is reflected off of the flicker elements towards a flame screen to create a simulated flame. The dipping flicker elements creates a fluttering light effect due to the flicker elements intermittently dipping into the light path. This fluctuating light is reflected onto the logs and ember bed in front and creates a dancing effect, which simulates glowing embers.
