Mattress foundations, kits and related methods
Mattress foundations and foundation corners, methods, and kits include a first side rail, a second side rail, a first end rail, and a second end rail. In one example, the rails join at corners to form the frame of the foundation and the rails may include at least a partial overlap between the rail the corners. The foundations and kits further include a plurality of slats. The slats may be of varying lengths. The invention may further include a method of assembling a foundation kit.
MATTRESS FOUNDATION
A mattress foundation includes: a head end panel assembly; a foot end panel assembly; a left side panel assembly; and a right side panel assembly, all slidably attaching to each other using sliding mechanisms. At least one of the sliding mechanisms includes an elongated slot and an elongated protruding element that fits within the elongated slot. A horizontal cross-section of the elongated slot and/or the elongated protruding element includes thin elongated flexible arms, attached at their proximal ends to a common surface, but otherwise extending away from such common surface and separated from each other. When viewed from the horizontal cross-section, the average thickness of the thin elongated flexible arms is substantially less than the length of the thin elongated flexible arms.

HEADBOARD ASSEMBLY FOR MODULAR BED FRAME
A headboard assembly for a modular bed frame assembly includes a support bracket and a headboard. The support bracket includes an upper attachment structure and a lower attachment structure. The headboard is removably coupled to the support bracket at the upper attachment structure. The support bracket is configured to be removably coupled between two laterally adjacent planar members of the modular bed frame assembly by the lower attachment structure.
Economy class cabin with sleeping berth in passenger aircraft
An economy class cabin with sleeping berths in a passenger aircraft, includes cabin floor, multi-tier sleeping berths, an air duct, an overhead bin, seats, a baggage storage place, a shoe storage place and multi-tier baggage racks. The multi-tier sleeping berths are disposed in parallel to longitudinal axis of the aircraft; a longitudinal partition board is disposed between two abreast sleeping berths; and two latitudinal partition boards are respectively disposed at two opposite ends of each of the sleeping berths and a private space is formed by the longitudinal partition board, two latitudinal partition boards, a bed cushion and a slidable curtain. The present invention has simple structure and reasonable utilization of compact space, enables all or some of passengers of the economy class to be in a lie-flat sleeping state in half of the time in intercontinental flight.

Three dimensional connection system for bed frame
A connection system for use in joining structural members of a bed frame together. One of the structural members has a wedge and the other of the structural members has a cavity formed in a receiver. The wedge has a plurality of exterior surfaces that contact with a plurality of interior surfaces formed in the cavity. The wedge may be comprised of a plurality of wedge segments that enter into a plurality of openings in the receiver. The interfitting of the wedge into the receiver make a solid connection that is enhanced by weight of the bedding positioned thereon. The connection resists twisting forces as well as lateral and fore and aft forces.
Modular bed
A modular adjustable bed includes a bed frame unit, front and rear sliding frames disposed to be slidable on the bed frame unit, a head support frame pivotally mounted on the front sliding frame, a pair of prop links coupling the head support frame to a front frame of the bad frame unit, and a leg support frame pivotally mounted on the rear sliding frame. When the head support frame is driven to be displaced to a head elevated position from a head normal position, the front sliding frame is displaced to a front position from a rear position. The leg support frame can be driven to move from a leg normal position to a leg elevated position.
Bed
A bed that includes a base with first and second sections each with a face and sidewalls that extend around the perimeter of and outward from one side of the face. The bed also includes a mattress and a support. The bed is selectively positionable between a first configuration and a second configuration. The first configuration includes the support positioned in the base and with the mattress supported on the base. The second configuration includes the mattress and the support positioned in the base for storage or shipping.
Headboard Mounting Assembly and System
A headboard mounting assembly and system includes a plate with four quadrants including a first quadrant, a second quadrant, a third quadrant and a fourth quadrant. The first quadrant is pivotally coupled to the second and fourth quadrants, the second quadrant is pivotally coupled to the third quadrant, and the third and fourth quadrants are separated from each other. The plate is positionable in a stored condition wherein the four quadrants are co-planar with each other. The plate is positionable in a deployed condition wherein each quadrant of the four quadrants is orientated perpendicular to an adjacent one of the quadrants and the third and fourth quadrants overlap to define a bottom wall. The bottom wall is secured to a bed frame with a plurality of frame fasteners and the second quadrant is secured to a headboard with a plurality of headboard fasteners.
