An apparatus for holding a decorative cover. The apparatus includes a body having front and rear opposite sides, the front side of the body having a front surface having a perimeter, the rear side of the body having a rear surface, and the body having an outwardly facing lateral surface between the front and rear surfaces; and a first connector on the body, the first connector detachably connectable, continuously adjacent at least a portion of the perimeter of the front surface, to a second connector, complementary to the first connector, on the decorative cover. A furniture apparatus includes at least one substantially thermoplastic body and one or both of diatomaceous earth and a PA1b-related peptide incorporated in one or more of the at least one body.
MODULAR BED ASSEMBLY
A modular bed assembly includes four foldable frames each including a first elongated plate, a second elongated plate which is hinged connected to the first elongated plate, and a corner bracing member. In an unfolded position, first and second elongated bodies of the first and second elongated plates form an included angle therebetween. In a folded position, the first and second elongated plates are stacked on each other to define therebetween an accommodation space. The corner bracing member may be connected between the first and second elongated plates to keep the included angle when in the unfolded position, and may be received in the accommodation space when in the folded position.
Construction kit and installation assembly and method for the production thereof
The present invention relates to a construction kit for a collapsible frame structure (1), wherein the construction kit is characterized in that the construction kit comprises flat components of type A (15, 25, 35) and components of at least one type B (20, 30, 40, 45), which are each formed in the shape of rectangles, which each have two long sides and two edge sides, wherein the components of type A (15, 25, 35) and of type B (20, 30, 40, 45) each have a thickness D and each have an identical length L and an identical width W, the components of type A (15, 25, 35) and of type B (20, 30, 40, 45) are each subdivided into n equally large sections of length L/n, which are bounded by n+1 sectional boundaries, wherein the edge sides of the components of types A and B (20, 30, 40, 45) form the respective outer sectional boundaries and the central vertical line between the long sides of the respective components forms the central sectional boundary, wherein the central vertical line is an axis of symmetry S, and wherein, in the components of type A, on a long side of the respective component, n2 slots are arranged along a partial length of the respective sectional boundaries and are located between the edge sides and the axis of symmetry S, and wherein, in the components of type B (20, 30, 40, 45), n4 slots are arranged along selected sectional boundaries and are located between the edge sides and the axis of symmetry S, wherein, starting from a long side, some of the n4 slots are arranged along a partial length of the respective sectional boundaries, and, starting from the other long side, the other n4 slots are arranged on the respective other sectional boundaries, and wherein, starting from a long side, at least 2 of the n4 slots of the components of type B (20, 30, 40, 45) are each arranged along the sectional boundaries and are directly adjacent to the axis of symmetry and, furthermore, starting from the other long side of the component, at least 2 of the n4 slots of the component of type B (20, 30, 40, 45) are arranged along the sectional boundaries and are adjacent to the respective edge sides, and n is 8, 10, or 12. The invention further relates to a method for producing an installation assembly (2) of the construction kit according to the invention and a method for the production thereof.
Assemblable Mattress Support Whose Side Panels, Headboard and Footboard Fit Inside A Single Packing Box
An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.
Lightweight modular bed
A lightweight modular bed includes a front base frame, a rear base frame, a front support frame unit mounted on the frame base frame, a rear support frame unit mounted on the rear base frame, a first front linkage unit with a first front retaining member, a second front retaining member, a first rear linkage unit with a first rear retaining member, a second rear retaining member, a front supporting web which has two lateral portions retained by the first and second front retaining members, and a rear support web which has two lateral portions retained by the first and second rear retaining members. When each of the first front and rear retaining members is displaced to a stretching position, a corresponding one of front and rear support webs is fully stretched.

Bed Frame Assembled By Sliding the Ends of Metal Bars Into Slots Cut Into Other Metal Bars
A novel bed frame is assembled by sliding the ends of hollow metal bars into narrow slots cut into other hollow metal bars. A first bar has an L-shaped first slot. A second bar has a U-shaped second slot and L-shaped third slot, both spanning two adjacent sides of the second bar. An end of the first bar is inserted into the U-shaped second slot, whose width is less than twice the thickness of the metal from which the first bar is made. A portion of the L-shaped first slot aligns with a portion of the L-shaped third slot when the first bar slides into the U-shaped second slot. The top of the third bar is inserted into the aligned first and third slots. The first bar is a longitudinal bar, and the second bar is a lateral bar of the bed frame. The third bar is a support leg.
