Systems, apparatus and methods for purifying air
Systems, apparatus and methods for disinfection of airflow. An apparatus for disinfecting air-conditioned airflow in a confined space includes: a modular housing; and a disinfection chamber enclosed within the housing. The disinfection chamber includes a plurality of disinfection sheets. Each disinfection sheet comprises a plurality of ultraviolet (UV) light sources. The airflow is configured to be routed along a serpentine pathway within the housing to expose microorganisms in the airflow to far UV-C light emitted by the UV light sources for an extended and optimal duration.

Apparatus and method of waste energy recovery from a source of heated fluid
A system and method of recovering waste heat from an engine when the engine is not operating, which includes connecting a heater core to source of fluid heated due to operation of the engine with fluid lines, the flow of fluid from the source of heated fluid controlled by one or more pump, and operating the pumps when the engine is not operating to circulate the fluid from the source of heated fluid through the heater core. A second aspect includes a portable heat recovery system.

Pumpless solar energey based air heater and method
A pumpless solar energy-based air heater includes a body housing a chamber surrounded by a heat conducting medium; an intake pipe to draw cool air into the chamber; and one or more exit pipes to push warm air out from the chamber, the one or more exit pipes having one or more structures within the interior of the one or more exit pipes to create a low friction factor for the air flowing upwards in the exit pipe while creating a high friction factor for the air attempting to move downward, thereby ensuring air flow in an upward direction; a pressure difference is created between an entry point of the intake pipe and an end point of the one or more exit pipes, thereby eliminating the need for a pump or a fan.
USE OF A ROPE OF FIBROUS PLANT MATERIAL AS COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL
The invention provides a use of a rope as a combustible material in a heating system, said rope comprising or consisting of fibrous plant material. The invention also provides a method of operating a heating system, comprising feeding a combustible material to a combustion chamber of the heating system, said combustible material being a rope of fibrous plant material.

Bedding climate control apparatus and method to operate thereof that compensates for backpressure and ambient temperature
A bedding climate control apparatus that delivers, in a quiet manner, forced airflow from a fan/blower within a housing to selectively deliver tempered (heated via a thermal element) forced airflow and non-tempered (room temperature) forced airflow through a flexible air conduit to bedding. The thermal element imparts heat to temper the forced airflow and the heat deliver may be adjusted to maintain a constant set temperature by adjusting imparted heating power depending on backpressure changes in the forced airflow and ambient temperature.

ELECTRIC HEATER AND ELECTRIC HEATING APPARATUS HAVING SAME
An electric heater includes a substrate, an outer pattern part disposed on one surface of the substrate, an inner pattern part disposed on the one surface of the substrate so as to be located such that the outer pattern part surrounds the inner pattern part, and to be spaced apart from the outer pattern part. A pair of first electrodes is connected to the outer pattern part and a pair of second electrodes is connected to the inner pattern part and spaced apart from the pair of first electrodes, and the pair of second electrodes are located inside the outer pattern part.
