HOT-WATER SUPPLY DEVICE

Provided is a hot-water supply device. A process performed by a control device of the hot-water supply device includes: a step of shifting an action mode of the hot-water supply device to an instant hot-water mode; a step of measuring an amount of water X; a step of determining that another tap interruption occurs when the amount of water X is equal to or greater than a basic flow amount Y+α; a step of stopping action of a circulation pump; a step of re-learning the amount of water X when the amount of water X is less than a basic flow amount Y−β; a step of ending the instant hot-water circulation mode when an end condition of the instant hot-water mode is satisfied; and a step of measuring the amount of water X when the end condition of the instant hot-water mode is not satisfied.

HOT WATER SUPPLY DEVICE

A hot water supply device includes: a first pipe connected to a water inlet; a flow detector detecting a flow of water in the first pipe; a heating mechanism heating the water; a second pipe through which warm water flows, connected to the first pipe via a third pipe; a circulating pump disposed in a path of the first pipe, sending the warm water in the third pipe toward the heating mechanism during operation; and a control device. Based on acceptance of an execution command of an instant hot water circulation mode, the control device operates the circulating pump, and, in response to a set hot water output temperature exceeding a limit temperature, adjusts a heating temperature of the heating mechanism, so that the temperature of the warm water becomes equal to or lower than the limit temperature.

Load Based Hot Water Temperature Control

A hot water delivery system includes a water heater, a mixing valve that is coupled to the output of the water heater, and a plurality of loads that are coupled to the output of the mixing valve. A load set point temperature of each load that is representative of a maximum temperature of the hot water that is to be delivered to the respective load is set by a user. Responsive to detecting the occurrence of an event associated with a load of the plurality of loads, a controller of the water heater controls the mixing valve to adjust the temperature of the hot water from the water heater to the load set point temperature associated with the load, provided the load set point temperature of the load is different from a water heater set point temperature at which the water heater maintains the hot water therein.

An apparatus for heating water has a tank for storing water and an air conditioning system that defines a refrigerant flow path through which refrigerant flows. The refrigerant flow path passes through the heat exchanger so that refrigerant heat is contributed to the tank. A control system controls operation of the water heating apparatus.

Device, system and method for automatic flushing with a multiple valve

The invention relates to a device (2) for automatically flushing liquid lines, in particular drinking water lines, with at least one connection (4) for a water conduit, with at least one connection (6) for a wastewater conduit, and with a flushing valve (8) which is arranged between the connections for the water conduit and wastewater conduit. The object of providing a device for automatic flushing that allows a flushing behaviour which is better tailored to the conditions is achieved in that the flushing valve (8) comprises a multiple valve with parallel valves (10). The invention further relates to a system of water lines and to a method for automatically flushing water lines using a device according to the invention.

HEATING AND HOT-WATER-SUPPLY APPARATUS

A heating and hot-water-supply apparatus is provided with: a control unit that performs control on the basis of detection parameters of a plurality of detection means installed at the aforementioned locations and a setting parameter set in an operation unit. The distribution means can adjust the distribution ratio so as to correspond to a heating operation, a hot-water supply operation, and the simultaneous heating and hot-water-supply operation. The control unit prohibits the simultaneous heating and hot-water-supply operation in a case in which the required heating capacity for the hot-water supply operation calculated on the basis of the detection parameters and the setting parameter is equal to or greater than a predetermined standard capacity.

Hot water unit fluid supply control systems and methods

A hot water unit fluid supply control system comprises a switching device coupled to a hot water unit, a rainwater tank and a potable water source. The switching device is configured to selectively switch between a first state, which allows fluid communication between the hot water unit and the rainwater tank, and a second state, which allows fluid communication between the hot water unit and the potable water source. The hot water unit fluid supply control system comprises a control unit configured to: receive fluid characteristic information associated with fluid in the hot water unit from one or more sensors; activate or deactivate a pump of the rainwater tank based on a comparison of a fluid characteristic parameter of the fluid characteristic information with requirements of the hot water unit to thereby cause the switching device to assume the first or second state.
