Humidifier and air-conditioning apparatus with humidifier

A humidifier that suppresses formation of a slime, a scale, and a dew bridge in a lower portion of a humidifying member thereby preventing degradation in humidifying performance. The humidifier includes one or more porous metal bodies serving as the humidifying member and including therein a plurality of voids, a fan that blows air to the porous metal body, a water-supplying device (a supply pipe, a reservoir, and a nozzle) that supplies water to the porous metal body, and the porous metal body includes a tip portion formed in a lower end portion, in a protruding shape or a pointed shape.

Air conditioner unit and method for operating same

Air conditioner units and methods for operating air conditioner units are provided. A method includes determining an operational state of each heater bank of a plurality of heater banks of the air conditioner unit, and determining a speed of a blower fan of the air conditioner unit when the operational state of every heater bank is active. The method further includes comparing a blower fan motor rotational frequency to a rotational frequency threshold value when the speed is a low speed, and deactivating one of the plurality of heater banks when the blower fan motor rotational frequency is greater than the rotational frequency threshold value.

Air conditioner

The present invention is characterized in that: a flow diverter provided in an air conditioner has a flow diverter main body having an internal space, and a first connection portion to which a pipe is connected; the first connection portion has an inner peripheral surface that defines a hole through which the pipe is inserted; the inner peripheral surface has, in the direction of a central axis, a brazing portion which is provided at a location containing an end on the side where the pipe is inserted, and forms a gap filled with solder for brazing between the inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the pipe, and a restricting portion located closer to the flow diverter main body than to the brazing portion; and the inner diameter of the restricting portion is smaller than the inner diameter of the brazing portion.

INDOOR UNIT

In a known indoor unit, a casing may move away from a wall surface and a gap may be formed between the casing and the wall surface, with the result that the design of the indoor unit may be deteriorated. An indoor unit includes a mounting board fixed to a wall surface and a bottom frame (casing) attached to the mounting board. The bottom frame (casing) has screw holes (screw fixing portions) for fixing the bottom frame (casing) to the wall surface of the room.

AIR CURRENT CHANGEABLE FULL FRONT BLOWING TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

An air current changeable full front blowing type air conditioner is provided. The air current changeable full front blowing type air conditioner includes: a case configured to comprise a heat exchanger disposed inside the case; a main air blower configured to be disposed in rea of the heat exchanger inside the case and discharge a main air current from a full front of the case; and at least one auxiliary air blower configured to be positioned around the main air blower of the case and discharge an auxiliary air current for changing a direction of the main air current. The auxiliary air blower discharges the auxiliary air current in a direction where the auxiliary air current interferes with the main air current discharged from the full front of the case.

Cross flow fan and indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus

An impeller element includes a plurality of blades disposed along an outer circumference of a circular support plate. Each blade is divided into a plurality of blade sections in a rotational axis direction. At least one of the divided blade sections as a long-chord blade section is configured such that a chord as a line segment connecting a blade outer-circumferential edge and a blade inner-circumferential edge of the blade in a cross section perpendicular to a rotational axis of the blade has a greater length than a chord of another one of the blade sections as a short-chord blade section. The blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least one long-chord blade section having the longer chord protrudes toward the inner circumferential side, relative to the blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least other one of the blade sections as the short-chord blade section having the shorter chord.
