Air cooled condenser and related methods
A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.
Airchaser
Extremely lightweight device which hangs from the ceiling by 1 point (2 screws), used for absorbing/pulling in air, smoke and vapors and gets it out to the ceiling duct or window.
Made of 2 extensible sticks, having 1 point of support and 2 points of pushing on the ceiling. The hood (tip of the device) can be rotated/moved in the room 360 degrees, basically anywhere needed for the air extraction.

Water cooled dehumidification system
A dehumidification system includes a compressor, a primary evaporator, a primary condenser, a secondary evaporator, a secondary condenser, and a water pump. The secondary evaporator receives an inlet airflow and outputs a first airflow to the primary evaporator. The primary evaporator receives the first airflow and outputs a second airflow to the secondary condenser. The secondary condenser receives the second airflow and outputs a dehumidified airflow. The compressor receives a flow of refrigerant from the primary evaporator and provides the flow of refrigerant to the primary condenser. The primary condenser receives the flow of refrigerant and outputs the flow of refrigerant at a lower temperature through heat transfer with a flow of fluid. The flow of fluid is directed, by the water pump, to a heat exchanger or an external source, where heat is rejected from the flow of fluid.
Lifting mechanism with movable component and for range hood, and range hood using lifting mechanism
The present invention discloses a lifting mechanism for a moving component of a range hood and a range hood with the same, which comprises a mounting frame, a moving component, a motor, a transmission mechanism, two lifting rods, a connecting member and two guide rails. The transmission mechanism moves the connecting member up and down along the guide rails, so that the lifting rods and the moving component are allowed to move up and down. The power for the lifting motion is provided by the transmission mechanism, the guide rails on two sides ensure the stability of the lifting motion, and the lifting rods fixed on two sides of the connecting member further transfers the motion downward to the smoke guide plate, so that the lifting motion of the smoke guide plate is very stable.
Systems and methods with variable mitigation thresholds
An indoor air quality (IAQ) system for a building includes an IAQ sensor that is located within the building and that is configured to measure an IAQ parameter. The IAQ parameter is one of: an amount of particulate of at least a predetermined size present in air; an amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in air; and an amount of carbon dioxide present in air. A mitigation module is configured to: selectively turn on a mitigation device based on a comparison of the IAQ parameter with a first ON threshold and a second ON threshold; and selectively turn off the mitigation device based on a comparison of the IAQ parameter with an OFF threshold. A clean module is configured to determine a clean value for the IAQ parameter. A thresholds module is configured to, based on the clean value, determine the first ON threshold and the OFF threshold.

Multifunction adaptive whole house fan system
A multifunction adaptive whole house fan system can include a whole house fan to pull large volume of air through a building structure. The whole house fan can pull air from a motorized window or damper into the building structure and expel air through an attic. The system can monitor the environment to operate the whole house fan when desired conditions are present in coordination with other systems of the building structure to reduce overall energy consumption.
