A device, system, and method for creating air capsules enclosing passengers in vehicles is disclosed. The device for creating air capsules enclosing passengers in vehicles includes an attachment portion. The attachment portion is removably attached to a gasper within a vehicle and receives airflow from an outlet port of the gasper. The device further includes a diffuser portion integrated with the attachment portion. The diffuser portion is configured to intake the airflow from the attachment portion. Further, the diffuser portion includes a flow control portion configured to generate at least one airflow stream from the airflow. A first airflow stream of the at least one airflow stream creates an air capsule configured to enclose a passenger in the vehicle.

A device, system, and method for creating air capsules enclosing passengers in vehicles is disclosed. The device for creating air capsules enclosing passengers in vehicles includes an attachment portion. The device further includes a diffuser portion integrated with the attachment portion. The diffuser portion is configured to intake the airflow from the attachment portion. DIFFUSER HEADBAND SYSTEM FOR 360 DEGREES OF AIR DISTRIBUTION
Various embodiments are directed to a diffuser headband system. The system may include a diffuser headband formed from an elastic material coupled to a sanitized air generating source that produces sanitized air. The diffuser headband may form a substantially oval shape and include an elastic tube attached to the elastic material. A first portion of the elastic tube may be perforated to include a group of air outlet holes spaced along a surface of the elastic tube. A second portion of the elastic tube may include an inlet that receives the sanitized air from the sanitized air generating source. The air outlet holes receive the sanitized air from the inlet and expel the sanitized air to provide an air shield that encircles a person's body wearing the diffuser headband. The air shield blocks viral aerosol droplets from entering or leaving an airspace occupied by the person wearing the diffuser headband.

The present invention relates to a reduction in the propagation rate of airborne pathogens by an improved airflow ventilation pattern in confined spaces, such as in buildings or in vehicles. Since human beings are normally horizontally disposed with respect to each other, the optimum airflow pattern minimizes the horizontal component of the airflow velocity field. This invention addresses the fluid-mechanical requirements to achieve this goal.

A novel purification device is provided which projects Ultra-Violet wavelength light to create curtain-like beams that impair germs and pathogens exposed thereto or passing through the beams. A preferred embodiment described herein is comprised of a powered Light Emitting Diode to produce light, mounted edgelight-fashion onto an optically clear substrate light guide that has clear remote outer edges for light projection. Substrate utilized herein is an optically clear sheet such as acrylic that guides the edge-mounted L.E.D. produced Ultra-Violet wavelength light to its remote edges, projecting it outwardly through surrounding air and onto surfaces in light beams emitting from edges of the substrate, projected in suitable strength and wavelength UV-C to create a curtain-like partition, a barrier deadly to airborne or surface germs, and renders germs exposed to the light dead, damaged or inert.

Examples are disclosed herein that relate to a ventilation system incorporated in a cooking apparatus. One example provides a cooking system including a body supporting a cooking surface, an air duct located within the body, and an air inlet disposed adjacent the cooking surface and in fluid communication with the air duct. The cooking system further comprises a fan disposed within the body and configured to pull exhaust from cooking through the air inlet and the air duct, a muffler configured to receive the exhaust from the fan, and an exhaust duct disposed within the body and connecting the fan to the muffler to carry the exhaust from the fan to the muffler, the exhaust duct having a curved configuration between an outlet of the fan and an inlet of the muffler.

Examples are disclosed herein that relate to a ventilation system incorporated in a cooking apparatus. One example provides a cooking system including a body supporting a cooking surface, an air duct located within the body, and an air inlet disposed adjacent the cooking surface and in fluid communication with the air duct. The cooking system further comprises a fan disposed within the body and configured to pull exhaust from cooking through the air inlet and the air duct, a muffler configured to receive the exhaust from the fan, and an exhaust duct disposed within the body and connecting the fan to the muffler to carry the exhaust from the fan to the muffler, the exhaust duct having a curved configuration between an outlet of the fan and an inlet of the muffler.
