SLEEPING AREA DIVISION SYSTEM
20210337977 · 2021-11-04 ·

A sleeping area division system for dividing up the sleeping area near the head of a bed, the system includes a bed with an upper surface. The upper surface includes a head edge and a foot edge positioned opposite of each other. A base has a bottom surface, a top surface, and a base perimeter edge. A base coupler is attached to and extends upwardly from the top surface. A post is attached to and extends upward from the base coupler. The post is positioned adjacent to the head edge. A shield is attached to the post adjacent to an upper end of the post and extends perpendicularly outwardly from the post. The shield extends over the upper surface of the bed to form a barrier between two persons on the bed when the shield is extended over the bed.

Inflatable air mattress snoring detection and response and related methods

A method can be provided that includes measuring sound waves using a sound measuring device, determining, at a central controller of an air mattress system, one or more parameter values of the sound waves, comparing the one or more parameter values with values, ranges, or patterns indicative of snoring, identifying a snoring state of a user, and initiating, with the central controller, a change to one or more adjustable features of the air mattress system.

PNEUMATIC SYSTEM BLOCKAGE DETECTION

A patient support apparatus pneumatic system may include a mattress defining an interior and a pneumatic enclosure in fluid communication with the interior and comprising an inlet and an outlet. A blower may be in fluid communication with the interior and the pneumatic enclosure. A pressure sensor may be configured to detect a pressure at the outlet. A controller may be configured to monitor a speed of the blower and the pressure at the outlet for detecting at least one of an intake blockage condition and an exhaust blockage condition.

Terminal device and program

An embodiment of the invention is a terminal device controlling a body support apparatus capable of a first operation and a second operation; the terminal device includes a displayer and a controller; the displayer displays an operator controlling an operation of the body support apparatus; the controller switches between a first display format and a second display format based on an instruction from an outside; the first display format displays a first operator and a second operator in the displayer; the first operator controls the first operation; the second operator controls the second operation; and the second display format displays one of the first operator or the second operator in the displayer.

Comfort Curtain Bed Divider separates a shared bed into two spaces and prevents one person's breath exhales from assaulting their bedmate. It also blocks direct light from wireless devices from a bedmate's line of sight. It consists of two end boards, a line, and a stiff curtain. Each end board is folded at a 90-degree angle designed to slide underneath a mattress at the center point of the head and foot of the bed. The dome of the boards features height adjustable fasteners that allow a line to attach onto them so that a stiff curtain can run on the line.

The present invention relates to a pillow divider device primarily comprised of a body that is further comprised of at least one base, at least one vertical wall member and at least one cover. In the preferred embodiment, the base is triangular in shape and the vertical wall member is rectangular in shape. The vertical wall member may be inseparably or removably attached to the top surface of the base. The base and vertical wall member are further enclosed by an outer surface. The base may also have at least one weight or can be filled with water such that it becomes stable and difficult to move. The device can be placed between two partners who are sleeping, wherein the shape of the base and vertical wall member prevent any air exhaled by one partner from contacting the other partner.

A controller is configured to receive one or more streams of data, each stream of data representing a sensed phenomenon in the environment of a bed on which a first user is sleeping and a second user is sleeping. The controller is further configured to determine that the first user is experiencing restless sleep. The controller is further configured to determine that the second user is snoring. The controller is further configured to issue a snore-control command to a controllable home automation device such that the controllable home automation device alters a feature of the second user’s sleeping environment in a way that is likely to reduce the second user’s snoring. The controller is further configured to determine again that that the second user is still snoring and issue a second snore-control command.
