A cushion member that is secured to a massage table or massage chair and contains a video or virtual reality headset within a substantially central opening or cutout of the cushion member to allow an individual to view video, virtual reality scenes, or other text, graphics or indicia while receiving a massage. A retaining shelf can also be secured to the cushion member to provide support for the video or virtual reality headset. Speakers can also be embedded in the cushion member or a headphone jack or port can be provided with the headset to also allow the individual to listen to any audio associated with the displayed material on the headset.

INTELLIGENT WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM

Embodiments may relate to an air-permeable weight support system, which may include a microclimate fabric layer and an air-permeable capacitive sensor layer below the microclimate fabric layer. The air-permeable capacitive sensor layer may include two air-permeable substrates, each carrying a plurality of electrically conductive pathways that are impermeable to air. The two air-permeable substrates may securely position the electrically conductive pathways to define a sensor grid and position the electrically conductive pathways that are impermeable to air to be spaced apart to define a plurality of air pathways for the air-permeable capacitive sensor layer. The sensor data may be used to determine a sleep state of the person using the weight support system. A computer may identify the poses of the person based on the pressure sensor data. A machine learning model may rely on the poses, the heart rates, the respiration rates to determine the sleep state.

MATTRESS FOOT COVER
20220110454 · 2022-04-14 ·

A mattress foot cover includes a top panel, a foot panel, side panels, and a bottom panel that define an opening and a void that receive the foot portion of a mattress, enabling the cover to fit snugly over the foot portion of the mattress. The cover may prevent the mattress or bed linens on the mattress from getting dirty in a mattress or furniture showroom. The cover is adjustable and removable to appropriately fit an applicable mattress.

Four-In-One Mattress Management System
20220071404 · 2022-03-10 ·

A four-in-one mattress management system and method is disclosed for facilitating various tasks associated with beds of all sizes including making beds; rotating mattresses; holding a bed skirt in place while a mattress is rotated; installing or removing and re-installing a mattress, for example, in order to replace a bed skirt. The system includes an active mode and a passive mode. In an active mode, all four tasks mentioned above can be performed. A passive mode selectable. In a passive mode, the mattress can be easily rotated in a horizontal plane. During that mode, the system holds down the bed skirt while the mattress is being rotated. In an active mode, the present invention facilitates bed making and thus increases the efficiency of the housekeeping staff leaving more time for the housekeeping staff to attend to the rest of the room. The active mode also facilitates installation and replacement of bed skirts.

BED DIVIDER
20220061558 · 2022-03-03 ·

A bed divider is disclosed that is positionable atop a mattress to extend between two partners in a co-sleeping arrangement. The bed divider includes a support column that acts a support post, two side arms removably securable to opposite sides of the support column, and a divider removably securable to a third side of the support column to extend generally perpendicularly from the side arms. The divider and the side arms can be composed, in part, of an antibacterial and hypoallergenic material, such that the transmission of infectious diseases may be reduced. The divider and the side arms are sized to fit into a pillowcase, thereby providing a protective layer that is removable and machine washable. The divider and side arms are detachable from the support column, such that each may fit easily into a storage bag.

Flexible Capacitive Sensing Mat Including Spacer Fabric

Disclosed herein are capacitive sensors, and methods for their operation, that determine the presence of a user by detecting input forces and/or pressures. Capacitive sensors may be in the form of a flexible capacitive sensing mat. An electronic device incorporating a flexible capacitive sensing mat may include spacer fabric disposed between conductive layers. The spacer fabric may have a first thickness and may be configured to compress to at least a second thickness when a threshold pressure is applied to the layered sensor and revert to the first thickness when the threshold pressure is no longer applied to the flexible mat. A capacitive sense circuit electrically coupled to the second conductive layer and configured to generate a presence detection signal when the spacer fabric layer compresses to the second thickness may additionally be provided.
