The system includes a controller configured to respond to a call for dehumidification in the absence of a call for cooling by sequentially energizing a first compressor of the multiple compressors in a reheat mode of the first compressor, energizing a second compressor of the multiple compressors in a cooling mode of the second compressor, energizing a third compressor of the multiple compressors in a reheat mode of the third compressor initially at full capacity, and energizing a fourth compressor of the multiple compressors in a cooling mode of the fourth compressor.

Remote contractor system with site specific energy audit capability

A system that allows a contractor to remotely monitor and/or interact with its customers' building control systems, such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and analyze information obtained from the building control systems over time. Such a system may help the contractor monitor and diagnosis customer building control systems, setup service calls, achieve better customer relations, create more effective marketing opportunities, as well as other functions. In some cases, the disclosed system may include a controller that analyzes data from HVAC systems, determines a thermal model of a space environmentally controlled by an HVAC system, and provides an energy audit of the space that is environmentally controlled by the HVAC system. The controller may output a result of the energy audit to a user.

Method and system for assessing metabolic rate and maintaining indoor air quality and efficient ventilation energy use with passive environmental sensors

An integrated method for assessing metabolic rate and maintaining indoor air quality and efficient ventilation energy use. A physical sensor assesses room occupancy. An actuated ventilation system is set to a constant CO.sub.2 level in a predetermined healthy range, where the actuated ventilation system includes a CO.sub.2 sensor. The actuated ventilation system sets a first air ventilation rate and the sensor measures a first CO.sub.2 level. The system determines whether CO.sub.2 level is in a healthy range, if not then the CO.sub.2 level is adjusted by setting a subsequent air ventilation rate. A subsequent CO.sub.2 level is measured. If the CO.sub.2 level is determined to meet a predetermined healthy range, then an assessment of change of air ventilation rate (Δ ACH) is determined. The determination of air change rate can be further augmented by a physical pressure based measurement. The overall metabolic rate is generated.
