SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HVAC FAN CONTROL
An HVAC system includes a first air quality sensor and a second air quality sensor. The system contains a controller which calculates a differential between the first air quality sensor and the second air quality sensor. The differential is compared to a threshold. If the threshold is satisfied, a fan is engaged which may, reducing the air quality differential as sensed by the first and second air quality sensor.
VENTILATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A ventilation system including a ventilator and a processor. The ventilator includes a housing, first intake, second intake, first outlet, second outlet, dampers, first air blower, second air blower, total heat exchanger, and heat exchanger. The processor is configured to change the air flow path of air flowing through the housing from an intake flow path and discharge flow path while in a ventilation mode to a heat exchanger cleaning mode or a total heat exchanger drying mode, in which air in the room flows into the housing through the first outlet, passes through the heat exchanger and then the total heat exchanger, and is discharged to the space outside the room through the second outlet.
Humidifying device
A humidifying device includes an air inlet, an internal air passage through which air taken in from the air inlet passes, a first thermometer that measures a temperature of the air taken in from the air inlet, a first hygrometer that measures a humidity of the air taken in from the air inlet, a cooler installed in a path of the internal air passage, and a cooling control unit that controls the cooler. The cooling control unit changes a cooling intensity of the cooler in a case where values measured by the first thermometer and the first hygrometer are out of a predetermined range.
Test chamber and control method
A method for controlling a climate test chamber for conditioning air and a test chamber includes a fuel cell assembly exposed to at least one physical test condition in a test space. The fuel cell assembly includes at least one electrochemical fuel cell having an anode compartment and a cathode compartment each having a feed opening for introducing reactants and a discharge opening for discharging waste products of the fuel cell assembly. The fuel cell assembly is operated in the test space, and a fuel gas and an oxidation gas is fed to the fuel cell assembly as reactants. The test space is supplied with conditioned supply air and exhaust air is discharged from the test space by an air conditioning and ventilation system. An oxygen concentration is determined using a sensor and a controller controls the oxygen concentration.
Dynamic temperature compensation of a thermostat for an evaporative cooler system
The disclosure is directed to techniques for a thermostat to determine the air temperature of a room based on measurements of temperatures sensors located inside a housing of the thermostat. Because the thermostat for an evaporative cooler operates at line voltage and controls current flowing to the evaporative cooler, the magnitude of current flowing through the thermostat may vary from nearly zero, when the thermostat is in the powered-off state, to a current on the order of several amps. The variation in current causes a variation in temperature inside the housing of the thermostat. The techniques of this disclosure compensate for changes the internal housing temperature caused by changes in operating mode. The compensation allows the temperature sensors inside the thermostat housing to determine the air temperature of the room in which the thermostat is located, without regard for the operating mode of the evaporative cooler system.
INTEGRAL ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR WITH BYPASS BY ROTATION FOR ROOFTOPS
A rooftop air conditioning unit includes a cabinet, an energy recovery wheel rotatably mounted within the cabinet, and a controller. The energy recovery wheel can transfer heat between an outdoor air stream and a return air stream when rotated into an operational position and will not transfer heat when rotated into a bypass position. The controller can select the operational position of the energy recovery wheel and an operational mode of the energy recovery wheel.
Autonomous device for measuring the characteristics of a fluid circulating in a conduit and system for controlling ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating using such a device
An autonomous device for measuring at least one characteristic of a fluid circulating in a conduit in a flow direction comprises a permanent magnetic field source, a magneto-electric converter and a processing circuit capable of using the electric charges supplied by the converter to supply a measurement of a characteristic of its environment. The source and the converter are placed in a stator and a rotor forming the device. The autonomous device further comprises attachment means allowing the stator to be fixedly placed in the conduit or at one end of the conduit, in a configuration in which the axis of rotation of the rotor is parallel to the flow direction. A control system may employ at least one such autonomous device.
Air-conditioning system controlling evaporating temperatures of indoor units and ventilator
An air-conditioning system includes a refrigerant system in which an outdoor unit, one or more indoor units, and one or more ventilators are connected by a refrigerant pipe and in which refrigerant circulates, and a control device configured to control the refrigerant system. The control device includes a target temperature adjustment unit configured to adjust a target evaporating temperature based on a detection value detected by a temperature and humidity detection unit provided to at least one of the indoor unit and the ventilator that satisfies a specific criterion, and an air-conditioning control unit configured to control the refrigerant system such that the evaporating temperature of each of the indoor unit and the ventilator is equal to the target evaporating temperature adjusted by the target evaporating temperature.
Appliances and control method thereof
An appliance is provided. The appliance includes a transceiver, and a processor configured to, based on an external appliance being identified to be adjacent to the appliance, receive arrangement state information of the external appliance through the transceiver, identify whether the appliance is a slave device controlled by the external appliance or a master device to control the external appliance based on the arrangement state information of the external appliance and arrangement state information of the appliance, based on the appliance being identified as the slave device, transmit a control authority to the external appliance through the transceiver, and based on the appliance being identified as the master device, request the control authority from the external appliance identified as the slave device through the transceiver.
