AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided are an air conditioner and a control method thereof.
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an air conditioner includes a sensor portion including at least one sensor, a controller including at least one control portion to control a function of the air conditioner, and at least one processor operatively connected to the sensor and the controller, and the at least one processor is configured to obtain an airflow speed and indoor environmental data by the sensor portion while the air conditioner is operating, generate a second algorithm by applying the obtained airflow speed, the indoor environmental data, and pre-stored reference data to a first algorithm, and control operation of the air conditioner based on the generated second algorithm.
Systems and methods for sensor-based ventilation
A sensor-based ventilation system includes a sensor, a ventilation device, and a controller. The controller receives a first indication from the sensor related to toilet usage or a humidity level within a room. The controller also sends a first instruction to actuate the ventilation device to initiate or increase ventilation of the room based on the first indication. The controller further receives a second indication from the sensor related to the toilet usage or the humidity level within the room changing after sending the first instruction. controller sends a second instruction to actuate the ventilation device to stop or reduce ventilation of the room based on the second indication.
TEMPERATURE REGULATION BASED ON THERMAL IMAGING
Systems and techniques are described for using thermal imaging to configure and/or augment temperature regulation operations within a property. In some implementations, a computing device obtains a thermal image of a region of a property. The thermal image identifies at least a surface within the region. A surface temperature of the surface is determined. An ambient temperature for the region is determined based at least on the surface temperature. The one or more temperature controls for the region are adjusted based at least on the ambient temperature.
Radiation receiving sensor and air conditioner, electronic cooker, and transport device including the same
A radiation receiving sensor includes an infrared receiver including a plurality of infrared receiving devices that receive infrared radiation, a lens that allows infrared radiation to enter the infrared receiver, a rotator that rotates the infrared receiver and the lens about a part of the lens, and a cover member that faces the infrared receiver through the lens and that has translucency.
PORTABLE USER PROFILE FOR SMART BUILDINGS
A method and system for using a portable user profile in multiple smart buildings is disclosed. A method includes detecting a presence of a user at the smart building; determining that the user had not previously visited the smart building; retrieving a portable user profile for the user; and setting access control rules based on the portable user profile.
AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner is disclosed. The air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a compressor, a casing including a suction hole and a discharge hole, a fan motor installed within the casing to blow air, a discharge vane provided to be movable in the discharge hole, a vane motor configured to operate the discharge vane, a sensor configured to acquire data through which members are identified, a memory configured to store a plurality of learning results respectively corresponding to the plurality of members; and a processor configured to identify at least one member that is present in an indoor space among the plurality of members by using the data through which the members are identified, control operation of at least one of the compressor, the fan motor, or the vane motor on the basis of the learning result corresponding to the identified member so as to adjust a set value including at least one of a set temperature, an air volume, or a wind direction, and update the learning results by using feedback on the adjusted set value.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AN ENVIRONMENT TO ENHANCE CIRCADIAN RHYTHM
A system for controlling an environment to enhance circadian rhythm includes a control system associated with a building, and a plurality of sensors and environment enhancing devices placed within the building. Based on data transmitted by the sensors to the control system, the control system activates the environment enhancing devices to improve circadian rhythms of a resident.
PREDICTIVE BUILDING CONTROL SYSTEM WITH DISCOMFORT THRESHOLD ADJUSTMENT
A method for controlling HVAC equipment for a building includes generating, based on historical building data, a discomfort tolerance defining an acceptable amount of occupant discomfort, determining a first value of an environmental condition at which the occupant discomfort is predicted to exceed the discomfort tolerance in a first direction, determining a second value of the environmental condition at which the occupant discomfort is predicted to exceed the discomfort tolerance in a second direction opposite the first direction, and controlling the HVAC equipment to maintain the environmental condition between the first value and the second value.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing device includes a processor configured to operate an operation target according to a first operation mode on a basis of biological information about a user, and operate the operation target according to a second operation mode different from the first operation mode on a basis of the biological information about the user in a case where biological information about the user is being measured and the operation target is not operated according to the first operation mode on the basis of the biological information about the user for a predetermined time or longer.
REMOTE DEVICE CONTROL AND ENERGY MONITORING BY ANALYZING AND APPLYING RULES
Techniques are described for providing remote device (e.g., thermostat, lighting, appliance, etc.) control and/or energy monitoring. A system monitors sensor data captured by one or more sensors that sense attributes relevant to user presence at one or more monitored properties and status of one or more energy consuming devices associated with the one or more monitored properties. The system analyzes the monitored sensor data and the monitored device status with respect to a set of one or more rules and performs an operation related to controlling the one or more energy consuming devices based on the analysis of the monitored sensor data and the monitored device status with respect to the set of one or more rules.
