Electric fluid flow heater with stabilisation brace
12000622 · 2024-06-04 · ·

An electric heater to heat a flow of a fluid having a jacket block comprising a plurality of longitudinal bores to allow the through-flow of a gas phase medium. An elongate heating element extends through each of the bores that together with the jacket block define a heating assembly to heat the gas. The heating assembly is positionally stabilised within the electric heater via at least one brace configured to inhibit undesirable independent axial and/or lateral movement of the heating assembly within the electric heater.

Mirror Defogger

An adaptable system for defogging a mirror in a steamy bathroom having a tube assembly with a plurality of openings with an impeller and a plurality of heating elements for blowing hot air through the openings onto the fogged mirror. In one example embodiment, the tube assembly has louvers directing the hot air from the openings. The system has a plurality of mounting assemblies configured for all types of mirrors operative for coupling to the tube assembly, such as a portable mounting assembly with a rechargeable battery that selectively attaches on or adjacent to a mirror. The system has an articulated arm mounting assembly in one example embodiment. The system has a mounting assembly fixture in another example embodiment. A kit comprises the tube assembly and at least one mounting assembly.

CONVERTIBLE END CAP AND BASEBOARD HEATER COVER ASSEMBLY
20190154302 · 2019-05-23 ·

The present disclosure relates to a heater cover assembly for baseboard heater units and components thereof. The components include convertible end caps having cutouts and cover plates that can be used with baseboard heating units. The cutouts accommodate pipes or other obstructions that would otherwise prevent or hinder installation of the end cap.

HEATING MEDIUM HEATING DEVICE AND VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER USING SAME

A heating medium heating device (10) includes: a PTC heater (40); a first heating medium distribution box (20) tightly sealed to one surface side of the PTC heater (40) and having a first heating medium distribution path (41) formed therein; a second heating medium distribution box (50) that is tightly sealed to the other surface side of the PTC heater (40) and having a second heating medium distribution path (42) formed therein, and which is connected to the first heating medium distribution box (20); an inlet header space (44) and outlet header space (45) that respectively connect the upstream ends and downstream ends of the first and second heating medium distribution paths (41, 42); an inlet portion (47) that feeds the heating medium into the inlet header space (44); and an outlet portion (48) that discharges the heating medium from the outlet header space (45).

Gas heater

A gas heater (10) includes heater burner (16). Heat is generated by the ignition of gas supplied to the burner via conduits (20). A solenoid gas safety valve (22), when provided with a threshold electrical current, is maintained in an open condition allowing passage of gas to the burners. When not provided with that threshold current, the valve is closed, preventing the passage of gas. An electrical current generator (28) includes spaced apart thermocouple devices (30, 32). Due to a combined electrical current generation by the thermocouples, the current generator can generate electrical current at least said threshold current even if any one of the thermocouple devices does not generate the threshold electrical current.

Pre-mix fuel-fired appliance with improved heat exchanger interface

A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a burner and a first housing adjacent the burner so that an interior of the first housing receives combustion gasses from combustion at the burner. A heat exchanger defines a second housing with an inlet proximate an outlet of the first housing so that the inlet of the second housing receives combustion gasses from the outlet of the first housing, and wherein the first and second housings attach at an interface. A barrier extends within, and across an interface between, the outlet of the first housing and the inlet of the second housing and defines a thermal resistance that inhibits heat transfer from the combustion gasses to the interface.

Heat Generation System For Portable Electric Heaters

A heat generation systems for use with an electrical apparatus is provided. The invention includes; a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heating element, an air generator and a control structure. The control of the air generator and the heating element by the control structure provides a more precise, graduated and controllable heat output from the device.

Furnace, a method for operating a furnace and a furnace controller configured for the same

A controller for a gas furnace, a computer-usable medium for implementing a method and a gas furnace are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the controller includes: (1) an interface configured to receive a heating call and (2) a processor configured to enable an inducer of the gas furnace at a low speed based on the heating call and ignite the gas furnace at a high fire operation when determining a low fire pressure switch of the gas furnace is open.
