A DEVICE FOR HEATING ROOM AIR AND A LIQUID
Example embodiments relate to a device for heating room air and a liquid. Room air enters and exits the device via an air inlet and an air outlet, and the liquid enters and exits the device via a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. The heat transfer device transfers the thermal energy produced by an energy unit to the liquid in an interaction area of a medium line. A conveying device moves liquid between a medium container and the medium line. A control unit controls the conveying device and/or the energy unit. In case the device is intended to heat only room air in an air mode, the control unit, in a preparation step, controls the conveying device and/or the energy unit such that liquid runs out of the medium line due to the gravitational force and/or liquid in the medium line is heated up to an evaporation temperature.
Apparatus and methods for heating water with refrigerant from air conditioning system
An apparatus for heating water has a tank for storing water and an air conditioning system that defines a refrigerant flow path through which refrigerant flows. The refrigerant flow path passes through the heat exchanger so that refrigerant heat is contributed to the tank. A control system controls operation of the water heating apparatus.

Heater
This invention relates to a heater. A combustion air blower feeds combustion air to a burner device. The burner device burns a gas-air mixture from the combustion air and a fuel and serves for heating air. A circulating air blower discharges heated air from the heater. A control device acts on at least one component of the heater, wherein a night mode parameter set associated with an operation of the heater in a night mode and a default parameter set are stored in a data storage device. After an activation of the night mode, the control device accesses the night mode parameter set and uses the same for acting on the component. The night mode parameter set effects a reduction of background noise generated by the heater.

Flameless combo heater
A dual heating process is performed in the absence of an open flame. Heat is created by a rotating prime mover(s) driving a fluid shear heater. Heat is also collected from a cooling system of the prime mover, and from any exhaust heat generated by the prime mover. The heat energy collected from all of these sources is transmitted through heat exchangers to a fluid where heat energy is desired. The fluid being heated may be glycol or air, depending on the type of heat desired.

Climate control system
The present disclosure provides a climate control system including a first heat exchanger having a plurality of first channels to allow flow of water therethrough, a burner to heat the water in the first channels of the first heat exchanger, and an inducer disposed proximal to the burner to direct combustion air towards the burner for combustion, and vent products of combustion. The system further includes a hydronic coil-to-air heat exchanger in fluid communication with the first heat exchanger, to receive the heated water from the first heat exchanger. The hydronic coil-to-air heat exchanger includes a plurality of second channels to allow flow of heated water therethrough. The system also includes a blower to blow air across the plurality of second channels of the hydronic coil-to-air heat exchanger, whereby the air is heated by the heated water.
