Bedding or seating product having topper with at least one thermally enhanced foam component
A three-layered topper for a bedding or seating product has a first piece of foam, a second piece of foam and a pocketed spring comfort layer therebetween. The pocketed spring comfort layer has individually pocketed mini coil springs. At least one of the foam pieces may be infused with metallic particles to improve thermal conductivity. Alternatively, at least one of the foam pieces may be infused with microencapsulated phase change materials to improve heat absorption. At least one of the foam pieces may have a coating to further improve thermal conductivity or heat absorption.
POROUS STRUCTURAL BODY AND POROUS STRUCTURAL BODY MANUFACTURING METHOD
A porous structural body 1 made of flexible resin or rubber, the porous structural body includes a skeleton part 2 throughout its entirety. The skeleton part includes a plurality of bone parts 2B and a plurality of coupling parts 2J coupling end parts of the plurality of respective bone parts with each other. The skeleton part has a plurality of annular parts 211 each constituted of the plurality of bone parts and the plurality of coupling parts into an annular shape. Each annular part zones a virtual surface V1 by its inner peripheral side edge part 2111. At least a part of each of one or a plurality of the virtual surfaces is covered with one or a plurality of partially connected films 31. Each of the one or plurality of partially connected films is connected to only a part of the annular part in a peripheral direction.

Bedding system, apparatus, and method
A method for making a bed having a mattress is disclosed. The method includes permanently attaching a mattress assembly to the mattress, removably attaching a sheet assembly to the mattress assembly, the sheet assembly including a first sheet member, which includes a fluid barrier layer, and a second sheet member, and blocking fluid using the fluid barrier layer from moving from the sheet assembly to the mattress assembly when the sheet assembly is removably attached to the mattress assembly.
BEDDING SYSTEM, KIT AND METHOD
A bedding system includes a chassis having a bottom wall, opposite first and second side walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall and opposite first and second end walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall. The walls define a cavity. A coil pack is positioned in the cavity. The coil pack includes a plurality of springs. A first cover is positioned over the coil pack. The first cover is attached to the chassis by a first zipper. A comfort layer is positioned over the first cover. The comfort layer is attached to the chassis by a second zipper. A second cover is positioned over the comfort layer. The second cover is attached to the chassis by a third zipper. In some embodiments, kits and method of use are disclosed.
Armchair for physical therapy with IoT functionality
There is provided an IoT therapy armchair, in unitary form, with a chassis having a back section, a pair of side sections connected to the back section with an armrest on a top surface of each side section with the back section and pair of sides defining a seating area. A front leg support section extends downward from and below the seating area and connects each of the side sections. A plurality of pressure hangers fastened to the chassis, each of which are capable of receiving an exercise accessory, each connected to a respective pressure transducer, that measures an amount of pressure applied to each of the plurality of pressure hangers. The amount of pressure applied and health sensors are communicated as an output signal to a computing device that create statistics, reports of health conditions, early warnings, alarms, and communicates online and provides interactive therapy guidance to users.
Mattress assemblies including antiviral protection
Antiviral-treated fabric layers for mattress assemblies includes a silver halide and liposome carrier. Additionally, the envelope encapsulating a cushioning material can include an antiviral-treated fabric. The antiviral-treated fabric can include silver halide and a liposome carrier, wherein the liposome carrier is a vesicle.
Mattress cover for a mattress providing rotation therapy to a patient
A mattress cover for a mattress providing movement therapy to a patient. A patient support portion covers the upper surface of the mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled to the patient support portion. The mattress cover may substantially encase the mattress. An augmenting feature is associated with a peripheral portion with the augmenting feature adapted to move between a stored configuration, and a deployed configuration in response to increasing thickness of the mattress during the movement therapy. The augmenting feature may include concertinaed material, such as thermoformed plastic, and/or a fold of material coupled to the peripheral portion. The patient support portion and the bottom portion may at least partially overlap and be moveable relative to one another. The mattress cover may be included on a mattress overlay having a patient turning device, or on the mattress supported on a patient support apparatus.
Attachment for recliner chair
An attachment for a recliner is disclosed. The attachment includes a flexible barrier and securing devices along locations of inner and underside surfaces of the recliner for preventing small pets from being trapped under the recliner.
Ventilated comfort layer
A bed assembly includes a mattress that has rails that define an outer perimeter of the mattress and an inner core defined between the rails of the mattress. Springs are positioned within the inner core. A comfort layer including ventilation openings is supported by the rails of the mattress so that the comfort layer covers the mattress and the ventilation openings are in fluid communication with the inner core. In some instances, the comfort layer is positioned so that the ventilation openings are aligned with coil openings defined through the springs within the mattress.
