Upholstered furniture with integrated back rest portion webbing support
A upholstered sofa covered by a form fitting upholstery sack where the upholstery sack incorporates a supportive material panel that has integrated support webbing into the material panel. The support webbing comprising a plurality of webbing straps. With the upholstery sack properly positioned on the back rest portion, the supportive material panel is positioned on the front of the back rest portion frame. The material panel with webbing is incorporated as a component of the upholstery sack where the upholstery sack is pre-formed to snugly fit over the back rest portion of a furniture frame. The back rest portion or the frame is inserted into the sack and the material panel with integrated webbing is attached to the frame. Once the material panel is positioned and fastened, the remaining components, for example, the back panels and side panels, of the upholstery sack are attached to the frame at the back rest portion. Due to the construction of the material panel with webbing, installation time is decreased when compared to the time required for conventional webbing and upholstery installations.
HEALTH MATTRESS FOR HOME USE OR MEDICAL USE
A health mattress for home use or medical use is disclosed. The health mattress comprises: a lower cover integrally having a first edge part and a mounting part, which comes in contact with the human body, an upper cover integrally having a second edge part and a mesh part, which allows contaminants to pass there through, and separably coupled to the lower cover by a separable attachment structure between the first edge part and the second edge part; and a contaminant adhesion part interposed between the mesh part and the mounting part in a state in which the loser cover and the upper cover are coupled, and having one or more adhesive sheets to which contaminants having passed through the mesh part are adhered, wherein the mesh part comprises: a first mesh fabric and a second mesh fabric facing each other while being coupled to the inner periphery of a third edge part; and elastic yarn springs interposed between the first mesh fabric and the second mesh fabric so as to form a gap elastically expanding or contracting between the first mesh fabric and the second mesh fabric.
Climate controlled mattress system
A climate control system provides the desired climate conditions of temperature and humidity at a contact surface of a multi-layered structure. The climate control system includes a heating mechanism disposed between one or more foam layers of structure and configured to deliver heat to the contact surface and a separate cooling mechanism disposed in the foam layers. The cooling mechanism includes at least one fan assembly, air channels and reticulated foam layers configured to draw air away from the contact surface toward the bottom of the structure. An operational control system is used to control the heating mechanism and cooling mechanism to achieve the desired climate conditions on the contact surface in accordance with a desired time-based climate control algorithm.
Modular sleep solution
A modular sleep apparatus that enables customization of a conventional mattress. The modular sleep apparatus includes a customizable mattress pad casing having pockets into which various inserts can be placed. The more the number of pockets, the greater customization the mattress pad allows. The inserts themselves can be of varying thickness, firmness, and material. The inserts can also be placed directly over a conventional mattress and held in place with a fitted sheet. The inserts can also be placed directly into pockets or envelopes in the top layer of a mattress. The mattress pad casing can be pre-assembled with inserts.
Custom Foam Mattress Design System
A custom mattress having an upper layer and a lower layer. The upper layer has two or more segments arranged such that a first segment is positioned at a head of the mattress and a second segment is positioned adjacent the first segment at a first transition point. The lower layer has two or more segments arranged such that a third segment is positioned at the head of the mattress and a fourth segment is positioned adjacent the third segment at a second transition point that is offset a distance from the first transition point, the distance being measured along a longitudinal axis of the mattress. Each of the segments have different densities.
COATED OPEN-CELL POLYURETHANE FOAM STRUCTURES WITH THERMAL ABSORPTION CAPABILITIES
The present disclosure provides for a coated flexible open-cell polyurethane foam structure. The coated flexible open-cell polyurethane foam structure includes a flexible open-cell polyurethane foam having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The coated flexible open-cell polyurethane foam structure further includes a flexible heat conductive material covering 30 to 90 percent (cov., expressed in %) of a surface area of the first major surface of the flexible open-cell polyurethane foam in a predefined shape to provide one or more gaps exposing the flexible open-cell polyurethane foam between defined edges of the flexible heat conductive material, where each gap of the one or more gaps has a gap width according to Formula I: gap width (mm) ≤−0.196×cov. (%)+20.6 (Formula I) where a total surface area of the one or more gaps provides 70 to 10 percent of the surface area of the first major surface of the flexible open-cell polyurethane foam.
Pad
This invention provides a mat, comprising: an upper surface; a lower surface; a porous structure located between said upper surface and said lower surface, said porous structure including silica gel. The mat according to this invention can be used as, for example, a pillow, seat cushion, back cushion or mattress, or part of a chair seat or chair back.

Adjustable bed system with split head and split foot configuration
A sleep system comprises an air posturizing module having a case, the case comprising a first case section extending medially along a length of the case to define a movable first section, a second case section adjacent to the first case section and extending along a length of the case to define a movable second section, a third case section defining a third posturing section, a fourth case section extending medially along a length of the case to define a movable third section, and a fifth case section extending medially along a length of the case to define a movable fourth section. One or more first air chambers are carried in the first, third and fourth case sections to provide a first sleep area, and one or more second air chambers are carried in the second, third, and fifth module sections to provide a second sleep area.
Portable rebounding device
A method for generating a rebounding motion between a person and a stationary surface comprising the steps of providing a rebounding device that includes a front member, a rear member, and a spring mechanism positioned between the front member and the rear member for allowing the front member and rear member to move toward and away from one another. The method further includes the steps of positioning the rear member against the stationary surface and the front member adjacent to an upper body of the person and the stationary surface, and applying pressure to the rebounding device through the upper body such that the upper body moves toward from the stationary surface while a lower body of the person remains in place.
