A mattress protector completely encloses a mattress to preclude bed bugs from escaping. All of the interior surfaces of the protector are coated or laminated with a film laminate that is resistant to bed bug bites. A zipper extends partially around the circumference of the mattress protector so that when the zipper is opened an opening is provided allowing a mattress to be slid into the protector. The zipper is located next to the intersection between side walls and the bottom wall. A closure flap extends perpendicularly to the direction of extension of the zipper. The outer surface of the top wall is provided with a coating that renders the top surface waterproof while also providing anti-microbial properties and unique temperature regulation.

A seat cover including an elongate body sheet for placement between a user and a seat is provided. A pair of arm protectors extend laterally from sides of an intermediate portion of the seat cover. The arm protectors provide a barrier between the user and armrests. A moisture control system includes a moisture control coverlet (10) and a fluid pump (18). The moisture control coverlet (10) includes a fluid pathway therein for moisture removal fluid. The fluid pump (18) is coupled to the fluid pathway for pumping fluid out of the fluid pathway by negative pressure at a fluid pump rate. The fluid pump rate can be adjustable and/or can be greater than 1 CFM.

A tent mattress assembly for inhibiting water from entering a tent includes a plurality of panels. Each of the panels may be positioned on a support surface. Compressible mattress assembly packages and processes for packaging a compressible mattress assembly for a bed in a box application generally include the addition of a humidifying agent within the package. The humidifying agent provides moisture within the package, which allows the compressed mattress to effectively recover to its uncompressed state when unpackaged with minimal or no defects.
