MOBILE MICROALGAE HARVESTING
A mobile microalgae harvesting apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment the mobile microalgae harvesting apparatus includes a harvesting boom coupled to a harvesting vessel, where the harvesting boom skims a microalgae mixture of microalgae and water from a surface of a body of water down to a predetermined depth below the surface. In the embodiment, the mobile microalgae harvesting apparatus also includes a separator aboard the harvesting vessel that separates water from the microalgae mixture and a microalgae collector that collects microalgae from the separator, wherein the microalgae collector deposits the collected microalgae on a transfer vessel coupled to the harvesting vessel. A mobile microalgae harvester and a system for harvesting microalgae are also disclosed.
MICROBIAL TOOLS FOR IMPARTING BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES TO SEAWEED CULTIVARS
This disclosure describes the microbial network and community assembly patterns of brown macro algae, e.g., Macrocystis pyrifera gametophyte germplasm, cultures used to cultivate an offshore farm and identify network features associated with increased biomass of mature sporophytes. Several network features, such as clustering coefficient and edge ratios, significantly vary with biomass outcomes; also, gametophytes that become low- or high biomass sporophytes have different hub taxa. This disclosure describes microbial community dynamics in M. pyrifera germplasm cultures and development of early life stage inoculants used on seaweed cultivars to increase biomass yield.

Method and system for controlling weeds
A weed control system for a body of water can include a rotatable vertically oriented shaft mounted proximate the body of water; an elongate horizontally oriented support member mounted to the vertically oriented shaft and suspended over the water; a rake suspended from the support member by a flexible line; and an oscillating motor for rotating the vertically oriented shaft and the elongate support member such that the rake moves in a repeating pattern through the body of water.

Kelp growth apparatus and method for kelp harvesting
A floating system configured for energy generation via wind power. The wind turbine system includes an associated aquaculture cultivation system, especially for kelp growth and kelp farming. The aquaculture apparatus includes a vertical central mast connected to horizontal buoyancy bars that are also connected to six vertical vertex struts surrounding the central mast. Buoyancy bars further connect adjacent vertex struts, such that the top profile of the apparatus is a hexagon. Multiple systems are able to be connected together, allowing for ease of aggregation of the apparatuses for scalable wind and aquaculture farming. The central mast acts as a base supporting the wind turbine, which is able to power water pumps in the six vertex struts, which serve to transport water upward around the apparatus for more efficient carbon sequestration by the apparatus.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COMPUTER-ASSISTED HARVESTING
A system for computer-assisted harvesting includes and/or interfaces with: a set of sensors and optionally any or all of: a set of computing and/or processing subsystems (e.g., computers, processors, etc.); a harvesting subsystem (equivalently referred to herein as a harvesting robot); and/or any other components. A method for computer-assisted harvesting can include any or all of: sampling a set of sensors; determining a set of metrics associated with a harvesting region; aggregating the set of metrics; assessing the harvesting region; and triggering an action.
