In the frame position, the first U-shaped member, the first intermediate member, the second intermediate member, and the second U-shaped member lie in a single plane.

PORTABLE CRIBS AND PORTABLE CRIB SYSTEMS

Disclosed herein are portable cribs comprising a frame, fabric, and feet. The portable cribs described herein are easily collapsible, transportable, and deployable. In some embodiments, to deploy a collapsed, portable crib, fabric is coupled to the feet, the feet are coupled to the frame, and the fabric is pulled up and over the frame and secured to the frame. Portable cribs according the present disclosure may also include a mattress that may be coupled with the fabric at the bottom of a deployed crib. Also disclosed herein are portable crib systems comprising a portable crib and an accessory structure configured to be removably attached to the top of the portable crib. Accessory structures disclosed herein are collapsible and, thus, portable. Portable crib systems disclosed herein may also include accessories configured to attach to the system.

A pop up cover for a crib is provided for providing a safe, comfortable and isolated environment for a child in a crib. The pop-up cover may be made of breathable fabric panels having an integrated frame, for example a flexible frame, which can be folded (collapsed) on itself, for example when folded in specific ways if appropriate force is applied and which keeps the fabric in a taught, open position when unfolded (preventing the panels form falling inwards onto each other). The pop up cover can be lightweight and compact, quick and easy to set up, dark inside and breathable.

Self-deploying bivouac sack

A portable bivouac sack configured to be self-deploy when released from its compact storage configuration. The bivouac sack comprises an elongated bag shell made of waterproof material with an elongated ground piece and a top panel. The sack is closed on one end, open at an opposite end, and configured to receive a sleeping bag. The top panel is shorter than the ground piece to form a transverse opening into the bag shell and a longitudinally aligned pan. Disposed over the pan is a self-deploying frame that folds into a compact circular configuration for storage and automatically unfolds and self-deploys when released to form an expanded frame. Attached to the frame is a flexible outer cover that expands with the frame to form a dome over the pan. The frame cover extends downward towards the pan and a sliding connector selective attaches the frame cover to the pan to provide egress and ingress to the protected area under the dome. An optional outer cover is provided that fits over the dome.

A foldable playard includes a frame defining an interior space when unfolded and soft goods partially disposed within the interior space to define a partially enclosed space for a child to play and/or sleep. The frame includes multiple oval-shaped leg support assemblies and multiple X-frame assemblies that couple adjacent leg support assemblies together. The X-frame assembly is positioned near the top of the frame when the playard is unfolded such that the X-frame assembly functions as a top rail to mechanically reinforce the playard. In this manner, the playard does not include a separate compliant or rigid top rail or a bottom support structure, thus reducing the number of parts for manufacture. Additionally, the playard includes a single latch mechanism to maintain the playard in the unfolded configuration. The playard may also include an optional canopy cover assembly mounted to the frame to provide shade for the child.
