A cover for an infant confining device having a bottom, four sides, and an open top is described. The cover includes a body formed of a dark stretchable material and having at least one side with a top and bottom portion. The body is configured to stretch around the four sides of the infant confining device such that the top portion extends over the open top and the bottom portion extends to the bottom. The cover includes a roof flap of dark non-stretchable material with four sides. One side of the roof flap is coupled with the top portion of the body while the rest are unattached and larger than the infant confining device. The unattached sides of the roof flap drape over the top portion of the at least one side of the body and respective sides of the infant confining device.

A multi-functional enclosed sleep environment for providing an improved sleep experience. A sleep enclosure assembly may be configured to partially or fully enclose a user's sleep area or bed. The sleep enclosure assembly may be stored within a housing located proximate to a user's bed or sleep area, and may be fully or partially deployable such that the user's bed or sleep area is fully enclosed within a canopy of the sleep enclosure assembly. The sleep enclosure assembly may include one or more environmental control modules designed to control or regulate one or more aspects of the sleep area according to a user's preferences, including the sound, light, temperature, air quality, ventilation, and/or humidity of the sleeping environment. The sleep enclosure assembly may further be controlled by software running on a computing device allowing a user to customize one or more aspects of the sleep environment.

A mosquito control net includes an occupant chamber and a trap chamber disposed over the occupant chamber. The trap chamber has one or more openings disposed on an outer surface thereof, through which mosquitos enter the trap chamber, the openings having receptacles attached therein and extending within the trap chamber to inhibit egression of mosquitos from the trap chamber after entry. A method for preventing mosquito bites for a subject can include providing such a mosquito control net and having the subject occupy it. A kit of parts for converting a conventional mosquito control net into a trapping mosquito control net can comprise a funnel-shaped receptacle surrounded by a bag, the bag being substantially impermeable to mosquitos and the receptacle and/or the bag being attachable to a top surface of the conventional mosquito control net to form a trap compartment.

A pop up cover for a crib is provided for providing a safe, comfortable and isolated environment for a child in a crib. The pop-up cover may be made of breathable fabric panels having an integrated frame, for example a flexible frame, which can be folded (collapsed) on itself, for example when folded in specific ways if appropriate force is applied and which keeps the fabric in a taught, open position when unfolded (preventing the panels form falling inwards onto each other). The pop up cover can be lightweight and compact, quick and easy to set up, dark inside and breathable.

An umbrella canopy that opens and closes not from a stick from within the interior of the umbrella canopy but from the exterior crown where a line is pulled to open the umbrella canopy and where a button is pushed to close the umbrella canopy. A protective cover including a mesh sheet, a first pliable support member, and, in some embodiments, a second pliable support member. The mesh sheet has a first end, a second end, a top end, and a bottom end. The first pliable support member extends between the first end and the second end and is spaced a distance away from the top end. The present invention relates to a bed frame of a canopy style construction typically found in a home setting integrating assistive components therein, exemplary assistive components optionally including one or more of a trapeze device, a balance pole and an assist rail, and also wherein there is an option that the assistive components to be selectably concealed. The frame has four corner posts, two longitudinal rails and two lateral rails. A cross-brace and two longitudinal braces are provided for supporting a trapeze assembly. An integrated night stand having an integrated assist rail that moves from a storage position to a deployed position is provided. An integrated balance pole with a top piece and bottom piece, and a base, is provided. Structures can be provided for concealing the assistive components when they are not in use.

A protective cover including a mesh sheet, a first pliable support member, and, in some embodiments, a second pliable support member. The mesh sheet has a first end, a second end, a top end, and a bottom end. The first pliable support member extends between the first end and the second end and is spaced a distance away from the top end. In embodiments having a second pliable support member, the second pliable support member extends between the first end and the second end and is spaced a distance away from the top end and spaced a distance away from the first pliable support member. Each of the first and second pliable supports members is movable between a straight configuration and a bent configuration. The invention is a foldable protective canopy for attachment to a bed, the canopy comprising at least first, second and third generally U-shaped frames including respective ends joined at first and second hinges removably attachable to a bed, the canopy having a deployed position wherein the first and second U-shaped frames extend upwardly and the third U-shaped frame extends horizontally from the first and second hinges, a flexible sheet is secured to the first, second and third U-shaped frames, the sheet forming a top wall and side walls over the patient, the first U-shaped frame defining an opening into the canopy to permit room air to enter the canopy, the canopy including a folded position wherein the first and second U-shaped frames are rotatable about the first and second hinges toward the third U-shaped frame to expose the head of a patient.
