Capsule pod sleeping chamber
A capsule pod sleeping chamber with a ceiling and walls adjacent to the ceiling sealing an interior space to prevent a mixture of air between the interior space and a communal space exterior to the portable enclosure. The capsule pod sleeping chamber has first duct to route supply air into the interior space from a first area that is separated from the communal space and a second duct to route exhaust air out from the interior space to a second area separated from the communal space. Lastly, the capsule pod sleeping chamber has a plurality of apertures located in at least one wall of the plurality of walls that include the first aperture opening into the first duct and the second aperture opening into the second duct.

Mattress, sheet, bed system, and air cell
A mattress including air cells that are located on both sides of a user, in which the air cells each have a convex shape on a first side surface, and the air cells are arranged so that the convex shapes thereof are respectively located near shoulder blade outer edges of the user.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR VARYING PRESSURE POINTS OVER TIME IN A SUPPORT DEVICE
A variable pressure device includes: a user support device including a plurality of inflatable sub-divisions; a pump or compressor; and a manifold assembly including a plurality of valves controlling output of the pump or compressor to selectively inflate and deflate each of the plurality of inflatable sub-divisions.
Mattress bottom support and method of use
An array of linear foam strips designed to be vertically stacked with their linear axes parallel and vertically aligned under a region of a mattress that requires a raised contour on its top face to alleviate a medical condition or to repair a sag in the mattress. The foam strip arrays come in 24 or 32 inch lengths to correspond to the width of standard mattress. Each linear foam strip has a different width but none of the strips are within 25% of the width of any other foam strip. The widths of the four different foam strips in the array has been carefully sized to allow the best possible combinations to develop the proper height and side slope of the contour developed in the mattress's top face.
SLEEPING COMPARTMENT WITH A SLEEPING REGION AND AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTING CURTAIN
A sleeping compartment with a sleeping region and an electrically conducting curtain, which can be arranged around the sleeping region, having a rail system by which the conducting curtain is mounted in a displaceable manner. The rail system includes at least one rail and a multiplicity of connecting elements, the connecting elements being connected to the conducting curtain and being mounted in the at least one rail in a displaceable manner. The rail system is configured such that the conducting curtain is connected to the at least one rail in an electrically conducting manner, preferably such that the conducting curtain is earthed by way of the rail.
BODY SUPPORT ARTICLES COMPRISING VISCOELASTIC FOAMS AND COPPER-BASED ANTIMICROBIAL AND/OR ANTIVIRAL MATERIALS
A body support article, comprising a viscoelastic foam layer, and water insoluble copper oxide particles, wherein a portion of the particles are exposed on at least one surface of the body support article. The copper particles may be embedded in the viscoelastic foam layer or in a cover comprising a polymer, wherein the cover is positioned over viscoelastic foam layer on the least one surface. Methods of making such body support articles.
Smooch n' Snore [TM]: Devices to Create a Plurality of Adjustable Acoustic and/or Thermal Zones in a Bed
This invention is a device which creates adjustable acoustic and/or thermal zones in a bed to address sleep issues such as bed partner snoring and hot flashes. Adjustable acoustic bed zones can be created with a flexible movable partition which longitudinally spans a bed from an arch at the head of the bed to an arch at the foot of the bed. Adjustable thermal bed zones can be created with inflow and outflow flexible longitudinal air tubes which are inserted into a space between layers of bedding.
Modified and improved self-sanitizing chair
A self-sanitizing chair is shown and described. The chair may comprise a seating surface, legs, arm rest, head rest, and a sanitizing system. The latter may include a UV light source and a sanitizing fluid dispensing system. UV light and sanitizing fluid are applied to surfaces of the chair contacted by a human user. Indicating lights indicate when sanitizing is being performed, when sanitizing fluid is drying, and when the chair is ready for the next user. A control circuit operates the indicating lights and includes an occupant sensor. Sanitizing is inhibited in the presence of an occupant and commenced when the occupant has left the chair.
FURNITURE
Furniture articles have an integrally formed shell that generally has rounded features, the shell diminishing in circumference outwardly from a mounting surface, and a mounting portion configured to secure the shell to the mounting surface. A perimeter edge of the shell defines a mounting plane against which the mounting surface is to be secured. When the shell is secured to the mounting surface, the mounting portion is inaccessible and hidden from view. Furniture includes a shelving unit, a desk unit, a seating unit, and a bed.
