Control device and control system for an electromotive adjusting drive of an item of furniture
A control system for controlling an adjusting drive for an item of furniture includes a control device connected to the adjusting drive, and a first operating unit. The control device is configured to receive signals from the first operating unit transmitted wirelessly via a transmission unit over a first transmission link, and to control the adjusting drive as a function of the signals received. The control device is also configured to receive further signals from a second operating unit transmitted wirelessly via the transmission unit over a second transmission link and to control the adjusting drive as a function of the further signals received. The second transmission link differs from the first transmission link.

According to an embodiment, a control device includes multiple operation buttons, an acceptance part, and a displayer. The multiple operation buttons can control an operation of a movable part of electric furniture. A mattress has a first support portion configure to receive and support a first user and a second support portion configured to receive and support a second user. The first support portion and the second support portion are adjacent to each other such that the first user is capable of rolling over from the first support portion to the second support portion while sleeping on the first support portion. A sensor is configured to sense first pressure in the first support portion and sense second pressure in the second support portion. The sensor is further configured to transmit data of the first pressure and the second pressure. The controller is configured to receive the data and from the data of the first pressure and the second pressure, determine if the first user has rolled over from the first support portion to the second support portion.

MATTRESS
A mattress includes a mattress body, a control unit at the mattress body, a plurality of air conduits defined at the mattress body, and a plurality of air passages extending within the mattress body. The plurality of air conduits is in fluid communication with the control unit and the plurality of air passages such that the plurality of air conduits is configured to convey pressurized air from the control unit to the plurality of air passages. The plurality of air passages can each have an air passage end open at a surface of the mattress body such that pressurized air received from the air conduits is output by the air passages at the surface of the mattress body.
CHAIR
A chair for particular use in clinical or hospital environments has a frame to which a support material is secured. The support material may form a chair back and/or a seat for the chair to provide support to the chair occupant. The support material may be made from a textile of interwoven strands wherein some of the interwoven strands include copper containing particles, such as copper iodide or copper oxide within the textile fibers.
