MULTIFUNCTIONAL VEHICLE-MOUNTED REFRIGERATOR WITH PLUG-IN BATTERY
Provided is a multifunctional vehicle-mounted refrigerator with a plug-in battery, which includes a refrigerator box, an openable cover, a refrigerating chamber and a freezing chamber arranged side by side in the refrigerator box, a compressor installed at the bottom of one side of the refrigerator, a roller arranged at one end of the bottom of the refrigerator box, and a telescopic pull rod arranged at the other end. A battery chamber is defined in one side wall of the refrigerator box, and a battery can be inserted into the battery chamber. The battery includes a battery box and a battery cover. Laterally movable buckle plates are symmetrically arranged between two ends of the battery cover. Two ends of the buckle plates extend from the respective ends of the battery cover, the central portion of the buckle plates is disposed outside the battery cover, and the buckle plates at both ends are connected together by an elastic piece, which is disposed in a limiting groove defined in the inner side of the battery cover.
Propulsion, electrical, and thermal management device for a small unmanned aerial vehicle
An aircraft is provided with a gas turbine engine having a plurality of shafts. A first shaft provides power to an electrical generator and a propeller, while a second shaft provides power to a refrigeration system. The refrigeration system may be integrated to the propeller, like a ducted fan, or on the outer skin of the aircraft.

Transport refrigeration system with engine exhaust cooling
A heat exchanger includes an inner tube extending along a central axis, an array of a plurality of heat transfer members mounted to the inner tube, and a plurality of outer tubes disposed radially outward of and in parallel relationship to the inner tube, the inner and outer tubes extending longitudinally to pass through the array of heat transfer members. The heat exchanger is particularly suited for use as an engine exhaust cooler in connection with a transport refrigeration unit, wherein the inner tube defines an internal flow passage through which engine exhaust gas passes, each outer tube defines an internal flow passage through which refrigerant passes, and the plurality of flow passages between adjacent heat transfer members defines an air flow passage. In an embodiment, the heat transfer members may be annular disks having an internal chamber filled with air or other heat transfer working fluid.

DC system controls
A DC-powered system may include controls configured to switch between available DC power supplies and manage the refrigeration system in accordance with one or more methods. The one or more methods of the control system may include multiple tiers of power management, including, e.g., maximization of power usage when on a photovoltaic power supply to subcool a refrigerated load.

Air conditioner for vehicle with defroster control
An air conditioner for a vehicle includes a cycle switching device. The cycle switching device switches a refrigerant cycle between a heating circuit, in which refrigerant flows through a heating heat exchanger, and a cooling circuit, in which refrigerant flows through a cooling heat exchanger. The air conditioner further includes an air conditioning controller, which controls the cycle switching device and includes a defroster control portion. The defroster control portion increases a temperature of air blown into the vehicle compartment through a defroster air outlet by a predetermined degree while keeping the refrigerant cycle at a state of the heating circuit for a predetermined time, when a defrosting operation is commanded to be performed during the heating circuit.
Ammonia plant upgrading-multistage integrated chilling of process air compressor with ammonia compressor followed by air flow split and multistage air preheating to secondary ammonia reformer
An ammonia plant system upgrade utilizing both a direct and indirect multistage chilling system in the ammonia plant air compression train to increase process air flow to the secondary ammonia reformer of an existing ammonia plant as well as upgrades to provide more pre-heating along with increased process air flow.
Solar powered intermittent operation based continuous absorption system
An intermittent operation based continuous absorption system (IOBCAS) which supports cooling effect during the daytime without the use of a solution pump is provided. The IOBCAS may utilize an isochoric process for pressurization of the system and the system may include a plurality of generator-absorber units that intermittently operate in succession to provide a continuous refrigeration cooling effect during the daytime. The system of the present disclosure enables the plurality of generator-absorber units to switch between a generation, absorption, and heat recovery mode of operation to provide cooling effect during the daytime which a higher coefficient of performance compared with conventional intermittent system.
