Cascade heat pump and method for heating or cooling a coolant by means of a cascade heat pump
In order to provide a cascade heat pump with which a large temperature lift can be provided with high efficiency, a cascade heat pump comprising n stages where n2 is proposed. Each of the n stages has a heat pump with a coolant inlet, a first coolant outlet, and a second coolant outlet. Each heat pump has a hot side and a cold side and a flow divider to divide a coolant flow entering the coolant inlet between the hot side and the cold side. The first coolant outlet of the heat pump of each stage i, where i=1 . . . n1, is connected to the coolant inlet of the heat pump of a subsequent stage i+1. The second coolant outlet of the heat pump of at least one subsequent stage i+1 is connected by a recirculation line to the coolant inlet of the heat pump of a preceding stage.

The second coolant outlet of the heat pump of at least one subsequent stage i+1 is connected by a recirculation line to the coolant inlet of the heat pump of a preceding stage.

Provided herein are a household appliance and a method for using a heat pump in a household appliance, which may include a household appliance for washing and drying goods. The household appliance may include a processing chamber for receiving goods to be washed and dried, and a heat pump having a warm side provided with a condenser and a cold side provided with an evaporator, wherein the condenser may be adapted to heat water to be used in the processing chamber and the evaporator may be adapted to cool a liquid in a heat reservoir for storing heat generated on the cold side of the heat pump during heating of the condenser. The condenser may be arranged in a water tank adapted to provide water to the processing chamber.

Provided herein are a household appliance and a method for using a heat pump in a household appliance, which may include a household appliance for washing and drying goods. The household appliance may include a processing chamber for receiving goods to be washed and dried, and a heat pump having a warm side provided with a condenser and a cold side provided with an evaporator, wherein the condenser may be adapted to heat water to be used in the processing chamber and the evaporator may be adapted to cool a liquid in a heat reservoir for storing heat generated on the cold side of the heat pump during heating of the condenser. The condenser may be arranged in a water tank adapted to provide water to the processing chamber.
HYBRID HEAT PUMP APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a hybrid heat pump apparatus comprising: a housing having a first channel and a second channel formed therein; a dehumidifying rotor disposed in the housing; a heating unit disposed in the first channel and heating air passing therethrough; a cooling unit disposed in the second channel and selectively cooling air passing therethrough; a coolant circulating unit including a compressor, a first heat exchanger disposed in the second channel, a second heat exchanger, and a four-way valve; and a water circulating pipe through which water circulates and which is connected to the second heat exchanger for heat exchanging between the circulating water and coolant in the second heat exchanger.
SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING PLASTIC FILMS AS WELL AS METHOD
A system for producing plastic films has a source unit, a heat sink unit and a heat pump. The source unit comprises an exhaust heat outlet that is connected thermally to the feed of the heat pump and the heat sink unit comprises a process heat supply that is connected thermally to the outlet of the heat pump.

Method and systems for energy-saving heating and humidifying of buildings using outside air
Energy-saving method/system for heating and humidifying a building or car's saloon are disclosed. The method includesdrawing in an outside airstream,passing it via a dry channel and then, via a wet channel, in an opposite direction. Thereafter, the outside airstream is heated and directed to the building as supply air. An exhaust airstream from the building is introduced into a product channel. The wet channel is situated between the dry and product channels. The wet channel is in pairwise heat-exchange interactions with the wet and product channels. Water vapor, contained in the exhaust airstream, is condensed, discharged into the atmosphere at a temperature closed to the dew point. The outside airstream, passed along the wet channel, is transfer-heated and humidified by the exhaust airstream. Water from the product channel is used for wetting the wet channel. The system includes at least two membranes arranged between the channels.

The present invention relates to a heat exchanger, and more particularly, to a condenser integrated with a receiver dryer and used for an air conditioning system of an electric vehicle. An object of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger in which the condenser and the receiver dryer are assembled, and an effective volume of the receiver dryer is configured at an upper end of a supercooling region, such that a dead volume of the receiver dryer is minimized.
