Refrigeration cycle apparatus
A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit including a compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducing device, and an evaporator connected by a refrigerant pipe. A refrigerant including a refrigerant having flammability is used as refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant circuit. The evaporator and the pressure reducing device are accommodated in a unit. The evaporator is disposed in the unit in such a manner that a linear distance between a refrigerant inlet of the evaporator and a refrigerant outlet of the pressure reducing device is shorter than a linear distance between a refrigerant outlet of the evaporator and the refrigerant outlet of the pressure reducing device.
Air-conditioning device with refrigerant leak detection and control
An air-conditioning device includes a refrigerant circuit including a compressor, a heat source-side heat exchanger, an expansion unit, and an intermediate heat exchanger connected by a refrigerant pipe, through which refrigerant circulates; and a heat medium circuit including a pump, the intermediate heat exchanger, and a load-side heat exchanger connected by a heat medium pipe, through which heat medium circulates. A discharge unit connected downstream of the intermediate heat exchanger in the heat medium circuit discharges fluid flowing through the heat medium pipe, depending on pressure of the fluid. A refrigerant concentration detector detects concentration of the refrigerant contained in the fluid discharged from the discharge unit. A notification device notifies leakage of the refrigerant. A controller activates the notification device depending on the concentration of the refrigerant detected.

A SEMICONDUCTOR WAFER TEMPERATURE CONTROL APPARATUS
A temperature control apparatus for supplying fluid to control a temperature of at least one semiconductor wafer within a semiconductor processing chamber, the temperature control apparatus comprising: a mixed refrigerant refrigeration system; the temperature control apparatus being configured to supply the mixed refrigerant to at least one conditioning circuit within the semiconductor processing chamber and to receive the mixed refrigerant from the at least one conditioning circuit. The temperature control apparatus comprises a temperature control circuitry for controlling a temperature of the at least one conditioning circuit to one of a plurality of predetermined temperatures, at least one of the temperatures being below -100° C., the temperature control circuitry being configured to control the temperature of the at least one conditioning circuit by controlling at least one of a mass flow rate, composition or temperature of the mixed refrigerant supplied to the at least one conditioning circuit.
AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An air-conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor heat exchanger. The outdoor heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger. A controller performs a heating operation and a heating-defrosting operation, in which one of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger functions as an evaporator, an other one the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger functions as a condenser. When a temperature of the indoor heat exchanger by a temperature detection unit is treated as a first temperature, and a temperature of the indoor heat exchanger by the temperature detection unit is treated as a second temperature, the controller reduces a rotation speed of an indoor fan in a case where the second temperature is lower than the first temperature and where a difference between the first temperature and the second temperature is greater than or equal to a first setting value.
Systems and Methods for Implementing Ejector Refrigeration Cycles with Cascaded Evaporation Stages
Systems and methods for implementing ejector refrigeration cycles with cascaded evaporation stages that utilize a pump to optimize operation of the ejector and eliminate the need for a compressor between the evaporation stages.
Direct expansion evaporator with vapor ejector capacity boost
A system and method for increasing the refrigeration capacity of a direct expansion refrigeration system having a vapor separator and a vapor ejector. After the throttling process at the expansion device, the mixture of liquid and vapor enters the inlet separator. The vapor separator generates vapor to power the ejector through flashing of warm refrigerant liquid from a higher temperature and pressure to a lower pressure. The cooler refrigerant liquid then goes to the evaporator coil inlet. Furthermore, the system stabilizes the superheat of the outlet vapor and reduces fluctuations in outlet superheat caused by excess unevaporated liquid flowing from the outlets of the tubes due to mal-distribution at the inlet.
