Sealing panel for cooling appliance coil cleaning
A planar sealing panel member for cleaning the condenser coils of a cooling appliance. This member has at least one hole in its surface to accommodate a hose supplying compressed air. It also has affixation means on its surface so as to hold the sealing panel against the cooling appliance adjacent the opening(s) holding the condenser coils to form a substantially sealed enclosure along with the appliance structure within which the coils reside when cleaned using compressed air.
COOLING SYSTEM
An apparatus includes a flash tank, a medium temperature load, a low temperature load, a first compressor, a second compressor, and an ejector. The flash tank stores a refrigerant. The medium temperature load uses the refrigerant from the flash tank to cool a space proximate the medium temperature load to a first temperature. The low temperature load uses the refrigerant from the flash tank to cool a space proximate the low temperature load to a second temperature that is lower than the first temperature. The first compressor compresses the refrigerant from the low temperature load. The second compressor compresses the refrigerant from the medium temperature load. The ejector directs a mixture of the refrigerant from the first compressor and the refrigerant from the second compressor to the low temperature load during a defrost cycle. The mixture defrosts the low temperature load. The flash tank receives the mixture.
Air-cooled ammonia refrigeration systems and methods
In some embodiments, an air-cooled ammonia refrigeration system comprises: a plurality of air-cooled condensers, each having a heat exchanger and at least one axial fan and having a first operating state capable of condensing vaporous ammonia to form liquid ammonia; an evaporator coupled to the air-cooled condenser; a subcooler positioned between the air-cooled condenser and the evaporator; a compressor coupled to the evaporator; an oil cooler coupled to the compressor; and a plurality of valves coupled to the plurality of air-cooled condensers and having a first configuration corresponding to the first operating state of the plurality of air-cooled condensers, and a second configuration corresponding to a second operating state of one or more of the plurality of air-cooled condensers such that the one or more of the plurality of air-cooled condensers functions as an evaporator capable of evaporating liquid ammonia to form vaporous ammonia.

METHOD OF OPERATING WATER ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEM AND WATER ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEM
A water electrolysis system includes a water electrolysis device; a water circulation circuit section including a water circulation pump; an antifreeze circulation circuit section including an antifreeze circulation pump; and a heat exchanger configured to perform heat exchange between the water circulation circuit section and the antifreeze circulation circuit section. Before water electrolysis is started by the water electrolysis device, a control device of the water electrolysis system circulates water by driving the water circulation pump and sets the antifreeze circulation pump to an operationally stopped state.
Refrigeration apparatus
A refrigeration apparatus includes a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger operable as a refrigerant evaporator or radiator, and a usage-side heat exchanger operable as a refrigerant evaporator or radiator. The heat-source-side heat exchanger is disposed inside a heat source unit having an exhaust port and an outdoor fan in an upper part, and an intake port in a side part. The heat-source-side heat exchanger includes first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers. Adjustable first and second heat-source-side flow rate adjusting valves are connected to liquid sides of the first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers, respectively. In a defrost operation in order to defrost the first and second heat-source-side heat exchangers, the opening degrees of the first and second heat-source-side flow rate adjusting valves are controlled so as to achieve a defrost flow rate ratio at which more refrigerant flows to the second heat-source-side heat exchanger than during an air-cooling operation.
COMPRESSOR FOR REFRIGERATING MACHINE
A compressor includes a casing and a metallic coating. The casing includes a low-pressure casing part covering a low-pressure space and a high-pressure casing part covering a high-pressure space. The metallic coating is formed at least on a part of an outer surface of the casing. The metallic coating includes a low-pressure part coating formed in the low-pressure casing part, a high-pressure part coating formed in the high-pressure casing part, and a welded part coating formed in a welded part. At least either the average thickness of the low-pressure part coating or the average thickness of the welded part coating is greater than the average thickness of the high-pressure part coating.
