The refrigeration cycle apparatus is configured such that, when a refrigerant leak is detected by the refrigerant leak detection device, pump down operation is performed as refrigerant transfer operation of transferring the refrigerant from the indoor heat exchanger to the outdoor heat exchanger.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REHEAT CONTROL OF AN HVAC SYSTEM
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes a first sensor disposed adjacent to an inlet of an evaporator configured to receive an airflow. The HVAC unit includes a second sensor disposed adjacent to an outlet of a reheat coil positioned downstream of the evaporator and configured to expel the airflow. The HVAC unit also includes a controller configured to regulate operation of a modulating reheat valve to adjust flow of a working fluid in thermal communication with the airflow to control a difference between a measurement of the first sensor and a measurement of the second sensor.
Recycle information management system

The recycle system includes at least a recycling device that removes at least oil from the collected refrigerant to recycle the refrigerant. The management device includes a storage unit that stores the recycle information in association with a recycle system ID usable to identify the recycle system.
Air-conditioning apparatus with a refrigerant leak sensor in an indoor unit
An air-conditioning apparatus includes at least one indoor unit with intake and blow-out ports, a refrigerant gas sensor disposed in an air flow path inside the indoor unit; and a control device. The indoor unit has an indoor fan drawing indoor air in from the intake port and blowing conditioned air out from the blow-out port, an indoor temperature sensor detecting temperature of the indoor air, an indoor-side refrigerant circuit circulating a refrigerant having a greater specific gravity when gasified than air and producing conditioned air from the indoor air, and at least one refrigerant temperature sensor detecting refrigerant temperature in the refrigerant circuit. The control device drives the indoor fan in accordance with at least one of an operation mode and a detection value of the at least one refrigerant temperature sensor, and detects refrigerant leakage using the refrigerant gas sensor.
REFRIGERATION APPARATUS
Provided is a refrigeration apparatus capable of reducing the leakage of a refrigerant even when a refrigerant leak occurs in a defrosting operation of a usage-side heat exchanger. When a refrigerant leak situation around a usage-side heat exchanger satisfies a predetermined leak condition in performing a defrosting operation with a connection state of a four-way switching valve brought into a defrosting connection state in which a heat source-side heat exchanger functions as an evaporator for a refrigerant and a usage-side heat exchanger functions as a radiator for the refrigerant, a controller performs density lowering control to lower a refrigerant density in the usage-side heat exchanger while maintaining the four-way switching valve at the defrosting connection state.
HEAT CYCLE SYSTEM
A heat cycle system is a heat cycle system (1) using a working medium containing hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) that has a double bond in a molecule structure, the heat cycle system (1) having a compressor (10), a high-pressure side heat exchanger (12), a low-pressure side heat exchanger (14), an expansion mechanism (13), and an acid detection means (40) which is disposed in a discharge pipe (21) connecting the compressor (10) and the high-pressure side heat exchanger (12) and which detects acid generated by decomposition of the working medium in a heat cycle.
ELECTRICAL MONITORING OF REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT
A leak detection system for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment includes a refrigerant circuit, where the refrigerant circuit includes tubing configured to couple components in the refrigerant circuit and where the tubing is configured to enclose a refrigerant flowing throughout the refrigerant circuit. The leak detection system further includes a processor coupled to the tubing of the refrigerant circuit, where the processor is configured to detect a variation in physical geometry of the tubing by comparing the measured electrical property to a baseline measurement.
