Low energy refrigerator heat source
A refrigerator is provided that includes a low energy refrigerator heat source. The refrigerator includes a heat source positioned at a source of latent heat. The heat source harvested heat from the source of latent heat and stores said heat in a fluid within that heat reservoir or heat exchanger. The warmed fluid is then supplied via a fluid pathway to an application requiring a heat output. Thus, the heat reservoir provides heat to the application without use of an energy-consuming device, which reduces the energy consumption of the refrigerator.
Refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance has a dispenser conduit that defines an inner volume. An inlet of the inner volume is positioned adjacent a nugget style ice maker, and an outlet of the inner volume is positioned adjacent a dispenser recess. The dispenser conduit has a projection that extends from an inner surface of the dispenser conduit into the inner volume of the dispenser conduit at the outlet of the inner volume.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a main body, a door rotatably coupled to the main body, a first ice making compartment configured to generate and store ice and provided in the main body, a second ice making compartment configured to crush ice and provided in the door, and a transfer device provided to transfer the ice in the first ice making compartment to the second ice making compartment. Therefore, a structure of an ice bucket storing ice is simplified, and an ice making system is easily constructed.
Refrigerator Appliance and Dispenser
A refrigerator appliance and method of operation are provided. The refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, an ice maker, a door, and a dispenser conduit. The cabinet may define a storage compartment. The ice maker may be disposed within the storage compartment. The door may be attached to the cabinet and define a dispenser recess in selective communication with the ice maker. The dispenser conduit may be disposed on the door within the dispenser recess. The dispenser conduit may include a stationary inner funnel and a slidable outer funnel extending along a passage axis. The slidable outer funnel may be disposed over an external surface of the stationary inner funnel to selectively define an extended portion of an ice passage.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator including a first magnet provided at an upper end of a cover of an ice bucket and a second magnet provided at a ceiling of an inner liner. The ice bucket is fixed in a state in which the cover of the ice bucket is in tight contact with a front wall of an ice-making compartment due to magnetically attractive force between the first magnet and the second magnet.
Refrigerator
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a body provided to form a storage compartment, a door rotatably mounted on the body, a dispenser provided in the door, an ice maker located in the storage compartment, a dispenser hose provided to be connectable to the dispenser, an ice maker hose provided to be connectable to the ice maker, and a hose guide located inside the door to accommodate the dispenser hose and the ice maker hose.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator is described that includes a slim refrigerator door. The refrigerator includes a storage compartment, a refrigerator door to open and close the storage compartment, and an ice maker to generate ice cubes. The refrigerator further includes an ice bin-at the refrigerator door to receive the ice cubes generated in the ice maker and having a discharge opening-for discharging the ice cubes. The refrigerator further includes a motor-at the refrigerator-and at least one blade-within the ice bin and connected to the-motor. The at least one ice cube directly drops onto the at least one blade. The at least one blade moves the at least one ice cube to the discharge and discharges the at least one ice cube from the ice bin by an operation of the motor.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body that defines a storage space, a door configured to open or close the storage space, and a dispenser located in the door and configured to dispense cooled water and purified water. The refrigerator also includes a purified water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the purified water, a cooled water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the cooled water, and a dispensing amount input part that sets an amount of purified water to be dispensed based on the purified water being selected through the purified water input part. The refrigerator further includes a filter device located within the storage space to purify water supplied from a water supply source, and a water tank storing water that has passed through the filter device in a cooled state.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body having a storage chamber, a door opening or closing the storage chamber, and a dispenser provided at the door. The dispenser includes a dispenser housing that is recessed backward into the door to define a container accommodation space. A control panel unit includes a display part and a dispensing mode selection part. An image corresponding to the dispensing mode selected through the dispensing mode selection part is displayed on the display part as a moving picture by a control from a controller.
REFRIGERATOR WITH ICE MOLD CHILLED BY FLUID EXCHANGE FROM THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE WITH COOLING FROM FRESH FOOD COMPARTMENT OF FREEZER COMPARTMENT
A refrigerator that has a fresh food compartment, a freezer compartment, and a door that provides access to the fresh food compartment is disclosed. An icemaker is mounted remotely from the freezer compartment. The icemaker includes an ice mold. A thermoelectric device is provided and includes a warm side and an opposite cold side. A fluid pathway is connected in communication between the cold side of the thermoelectric device and the icemaker. A pump moves fluid from the cold side of the thermoelectric device to the icemaker. Cold fluid or air may be taken from the freezer compartment to dissipate heat from the warm side of the thermoelectric device for providing cold fluid to and for cooling the ice mold or cool/warm fluid to other cooling or warming applications in the refrigerator compartment or on the refrigerator compartment door.
