An entertainer for a child that is specifically configured and adapted for use in several operational configurations. The entertainer includes a plurality of legs and a tray for supporting a plurality of activity items for the child. A multi-functional plate is attachable to the legs to allow the entertainer to assume a seat support configuration. The multi-functional plate is detachable from the legs and positionable over the tray to allow the entertainer to assume a table top configuration.

A child containment system has a child containment structure with a bottom and a perimeter wall surrounding the bottom. A bassinet has an infant support surface and a surrounding wall around the infant support surface. The bassinet can be mounted to the child containment structure with the infant support surface elevated above the bottom of the child containment structure. An infant support unit can have a frame, a bed supported by the frame, and legs that extend from one end infant support unit to the distal second end. The infant support unit is configured for use in a first operational mode in which the infant support unit at least partially positioned within the child containment structure with the bed overlying the bassinet's infant support surface, and with a portion of the legs contacting the bassinet's infant support surface.

The present disclosure provides a convertible seat. The convertible seat includes a seat member and a backrest member pivotally mounted to seat member. The backrest member is configured to at least assume a folded position, a first unfolded position and a second unfolded position. The first unfolded position is a seat mode and second unfolded position is a diaper changing position. The backrest member in seat mode is inclined relative to seat member to enable an adult accompanying an infant to sit and the backrest member in the diaper changing station mode is aligned with a longitudinal plane of the seat member to enable an infant to rest for replacement of a diaper. The convertible seat further includes a plurality of storage compartment, which is configured with a sterile surface. The compartment when laid-out in diaper changing station mode allows infant to rest on sterile surface for replacement of diaper.

A portable activity center for use by a young child comprising a frame supported at a predetermined height above the ground by a plurality of rotatable or foldable legs. A tray is coupled to the frame and includes an opening and a seat support surrounding the opening and a seat is positioned within the opening and is securely attached to the seat support. A resilient suspension system operates to permit the seat and seat support to move in vertical reciprocating movement to allow the child to bounce. A cover interchangeable with the seat and positioned within the opening operates to convert the activity center into a table structure.

An extension having a proximal end is removably coupled with one of the plurality of extension coupling points. The extension extends away from the proximal end at the first major surface of the mat to a distal play piece connection point. A play yard includes a frame body having first and second sides, a bassinet, a strap and a connecting unit. The bassinet is disposed between the first and second sides, includes a backrest and has a lower end portion attached to the frame body, and an upper end portion mounted with the backrest. The strap has a fixed end fastened to the first side, and a free end connected to the second side, and supports the upper end portion. The connecting unit connects the free end to the second side such that an effective length of the strap between a portion of the strap disposed within the connecting unit and the fixed end is adjustable to change an inclination of the backrest when the free end moves relative to the connecting unit.
