TRANSPORTATION REFRIGERATION UNIT
Operating a transportation refrigeration unit (15) powered by a gas engine includes vaporising liquefied natural gas; and combusting the vaporised liquefied natural gas in the gas engine to power the transportation refrigeration unit (15). The transportation refrigeration unit (15) is used to refrigerate a cargo space (7) onboard a transportation refrigeration system (1).
Free cooling refrigeration system
A refrigeration system includes a chiller with an integrated free cooling system and refrigeration system. In certain embodiments, the chiller may be a single package unit with all equipment housed within the same support frame. The chiller may generally include three modes of operation: a first mode that employs free cooling, a second mode that employs free cooling and implements a refrigeration cycle, and a third mode that uses the free cooling system to remove heat from the refrigeration system. A heat exchanger may be shared between the free cooling system and the refrigeration system to transfer heat from the refrigeration system to the free cooling system.

Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
A vacuum adiabatic body and a refrigerator are provided. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a support that maintains a vacuum space between a first plate and a second plate. The support includes a first support plate provided by coupling at least two partial plates to support one of the first plate or the second plate, and a second support plate that supports the other one of the first plate or the second plate.

STORAGE SOURCE AND CASCADE HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS
A heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) system includes a heating fluid circuit, a cooling fluid circuit, and a storage fluid circuit. A thermal system of the HVACR system absorbs energy from the storage fluid circuit and rejects it to the heating fluid circuit. The storage fluid circuit includes thermal storage tanks containing thermal storage material that can provide energy for heating or absorb energy for cooling depending on the state of the thermal storage material. Heating can be provided using the heating fluid circuit and the heat provided by the thermal system. Cooling can be provided using the cooling fluid circuit by absorbing energy from the conditioned space using a cooling fluid and rejecting energy from the cooling fluid to the storage fluid circuit including the thermal storage tanks. The thermal storage tanks can also have heat added to them using an air source heat pump system to provide sufficient storage for heating operations.

PORTABLE CONTAINER
A portable container has a payload chamber for holding goods and a lid operable to access the payload chamber. The portable container also has an electronic system with one or more power storage devices, circuitry that wirelessly communicates via a cell radio with a cloud-based data storage system or a remote electronic device, and an electronic display screen. The electronic system also has a button or a touch screen configured to be actuated by a user to a) automatically switch sender and recipient information on the electronic display screen to facilitate return of the portable container to the sender or b) automatically contact a parcel carrier to alert the parcel carrier that the portable container is ready for pickup.

Methods and systems for maintaining cargo at an ultra-low temperature over an extended period of time
A transport climate control system to cost-effectively maintain an ultra-low temperature over an extended period of time is provided. The transport climate control system includes a primary climate control system and a secondary climate control system. The primary climate control system includes a first compressor, a first condenser, a first expander, and a main evaporator that is configured to thermally communicate with a climate controlled space. The secondary climate control system includes an ultra-low temperature phase changing medium packaged inside or outside of an enclosure for a cargo. The secondary climate control system is configured to thermally communicate with the climate controlled space, the primary climate control system, and the cargo to provide additional or backup climate control capacity at the ultra-low temperature.
