The center section conceals one or more lateral chair legs, and may also conceal back support and/or armrest, for each of the at least one lateral section when the expandable seating furniture is unexpanded. The lateral section(s) may be concealable into the center section as interleaved sliding sections (e.g., along a seating plane and/or vertically).

SWING DESIGNED TO PROMOTE ATTUNEMENT BETWEEN CHILD AND CARETAKER

The present invention provides a swing that is operable to promote attunement between a child and caretaker. The swing comprises two seats, one of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a caretaker, such as a parent, and another of the two seats being configured to be occupied by a child. The two seats are arranged so that the caretaker and the child can face one another and comfortably see each other's eyes. The two seats are also configured such that, during operation of the swing, both the caretaker and child share the experience of swinging. Thus, using the swing of at least one embodiment of the present invention, a caretaker and child may share the mutual enjoyment of the swinging action while maintaining eye contact with one another, resulting in attunement.

The upper surrounding frame comprises a first surrounding rod and a second surrounding rod which are rotatably connected with a first connector. The first surrounding rod comprises a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod which are connected with a second connector, and the second surrounding rod comprises a third connecting rod and a fourth connecting rod which are connected with a third connector. The upper surrounding frame further comprises a first locking device for locking the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod, and a second locking device for locking the third connecting rod and the fourth connecting rod. The first locking device is linked with the second locking device via a hauling rope.

The upper surrounding frame comprises a first surrounding rod and a second surrounding rod which are rotatably connected with a first connector. The first surrounding rod comprises a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod which are connected with a second connector, and the second surrounding rod comprises a third connecting rod and a fourth connecting rod which are connected with a third connector. The upper surrounding frame further comprises a first locking device for locking the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod, and a second locking device for locking the third connecting rod and the fourth connecting rod. The first locking device is linked with the second locking device via a hauling rope.

The example enclosed seating assembly includes an anti-tip structure on the base of the foldable chair enclosure configured to reduce or altogether prevent tipping. The example enclosed seating assembly includes built in storage for the at least one sensory module. In an example, the enclosed seating assembly includes a door on a sidewall of the chair enclosure for the user to enter and exit the chair enclosure. In another example, the enclosed seating assembly includes a ramp.

Hospital bed with pivoting side rail

The hospital bed with pivoting side rail includes a bed frame having a headboard, a footboard and a platform mounted thereon. The side rail has an upper end, a lower end, and first and second longitudinally opposed sides. The lower end of the side rail is pivotally attached to the bed frame, and the upper end of the side rail is releasably attached to the headboard and the footboard. In order to safely and easily deploy and collapse the side rail, first and second adjustable struts are provided, the struts having opposed first and second ends, such that the first ends of the first and second adjustable struts are pivotally attached to the first and second sides of the side rail, and the second ends of the first and second adjustable struts are pivotally secured to the headboard and footboard, respectively.

Child support device

A child support system for infants or small children. The child support system includes a child containment device and at least one child support unit detachably mounted to the child containment device. The child containment device includes a frame, liner and, optionally, a raised bassinet mattress. The at least one child support unit may take the form of a bassinet, sleeper, seat, and/or a changing table. The child containment device frame can be collapsible for storage and transport. The child support unit can be configured for use in different modes, in combination with, and/or independent of the child containment device.
