The present invention relates to a novel crib bumper device which creates a safe and soft environment for an infant sleeping in a crib. The device is configured to fit snugly between the vertical slats of a crib. Specifically, the device comprises a foam component of adjustable length, with a flat back surface and an inside portion comprising elongated, mushroom-shaped columns sized to fit between the vertical slats of a crib. The flat outside surface is then secured around the perimeter of a crib via a hook and loop fastener strap.

An apparatus for soothing a baby on a mattress has a mattress support or base having weight detecting means for detecting weight of the baby on the mattress, cry detecting means for detecting baby cry, and vibration means for vibrating the mattress. The apparatus has control means configured to determine a center of gravity of the baby on the mattress and baby agitation in response to the weight detecting means. The control means control the vibration means to vibrate the mattress in a position different from the center of gravity of the baby on the mattress within and not beyond a maximum time in response to detection of the baby's cry and/or agitation.

A changing table comprising a strap-retraction slowing mechanism which allows for slower, more controlled security strap retraction so a child on a changing table is not injured by a fast-retracting strap. One embodiment of a security strap-retraction slowing mechanism comprises a mounting bracket, a strap reel assembly, a constant force spring, a first speed reduction gear, a second speed reduction gear, a rotary speed damper, wherein the damper is bi-directional so it damps the rotation in one direction and in the other direction it does not damp the rotation. One embodiment of a retractable security-strap system comprises a strap-retraction slowing mechanism housed in a cavity, a retractable strap, a strap end fitting, and a strap-securing means.

A changing table comprising a strap-retraction slowing mechanism which allows for slower, more controlled security strap retraction so a child on a changing table is not injured by a fast-retracting strap. The present invention relates generally to the field of seating. More specifically, the present invention relates to a portable seat device. The device is primarily comprised of a vertical frame member, a horizontal frame member, and at least two arm rest assemblies. The device can be attached around a bleacher via a hook strap and loop strap to provide a more comfortable sitting surface. The device is also comprised of at least four folding legs that allow the device to be used as a standalone chair. The device may also have a sunshade, and a removable tray for convenience. The device may further fold for storage/transport.

The carrier may include a main body, a base layer, a back layer, a child adjustment mechanism, a hood, a shoulder strap, and a hip belt. The main body may have a front side, a back side, a first side edge, a second side edge, a bottom edge, and a top edge. The base layer may be disposed on the front side of the main body. The back layer may be disposed on the back side of the main body. The child adjustment mechanism may be configured to vary and stabilize a carrier seat length. The hood may be attached to the top edge of the main body. The hip belt may be attached to the bottom edge of the main body. The base layer may substantially consist of neoprene. The back layer may substantially consist of a quick-drying, flexible fabric. The carrier may be waterproof.

An apparatus and method for catching spills are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a drop tray and a high-chair including one or more legs and a high-chair seat. The apparatus further comprises the one or more legs that may be connected to the high-chair where one or more legs may raise the high-chair seat above a floor. Moreover, the apparatus comprises the drop tray that may be disposed above the floor and underneath the high-chair seat. The drop tray may surround the one or more legs of the high-chair where the drop tray may include an upper peripheral edge above and surrounding a base. Furthermore, the drop tray may include one or more sidewalls extending between the upper peripheral edge and the base. Moreover, the base may affixed to the one or more legs of the high-chair.

An apparatus and method for catching spills are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a drop tray and a high-chair including one or more legs and a high-chair seat. The apparatus further comprises the one or more legs that may be connected to the high-chair where one or more legs may raise the high-chair seat above a floor. Moreover, the apparatus comprises the drop tray that may be disposed above the floor and underneath the high-chair seat. The drop tray may surround the one or more legs of the high-chair where the drop tray may include an upper peripheral edge above and surrounding a base. Furthermore, the drop tray may include one or more sidewalls extending between the upper peripheral edge and the base. Moreover, the base may affixed to the one or more legs of the high-chair.

An easy-change mattress sheet system having a top panel selectively interconnected to lateral panels covering at least a portion of the four sides of a mattress is provided. The lateral panels may employ an elastic seam comprised of a vertical drop seam bounded by upper and lower 45-degrees seams, wherein the length of the vertical drop seam varies by mattress thickness. The top panel may be secured to the lateral panels with a simple attaching device. The top panel can be completely removed from the lateral panels by unfastening the simple attaching device. Accordingly, removing/replacing the top panel can be easily accomplished without disturbing the mattress.
