Cryocooling system and method
The present disclosure relates to a cryocooling system and method. The system includes a sample well and a sample chamber, each of which having an interior that is sized and shaped to hold a cryocooling gas at cryogenic temperatures and a pressure below 1 atm. The sample chamber is also sized and shaped to hold a sample substance to be cryocooled. An impedance tube connects the interior of the sample well to the interior of the sample chamber to allow cryocooling gas to move from the sample well to the sample chamber. A vacuum tube is connected to the interior of the sample chamber on one side and to a vacuum pump via a vacuum port on the other. The vacuum tube is sized and shaped to allow cryocooling gas within the sample chamber to be pumped out of the sample chamber by the vacuum pump.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator may include a main body having a storage compartment, a first door rotatably installed at a first side of the main body to open and close a first portion of the storage compartment, and a second door rotatably installed at a second side of the main body to open and close a second portion of the storage compartment. A first camera may be installed at the first door to take a picture of an interior of the first storage compartment during rotation of the first door, and a second camera may be installed at the second door to take a picture of the interior of the first storage compartment during rotation of the second door. A controller may combine plural pictures taken by the first camera and the second camera into a single corrected image of a region of the first compartment spanning from the first door to the second door.
REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD FOR REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR OPENING A REFRIGERATOR DOOR
Provided is a refrigerator and control method for refrigerator and method for opening a refrigerator door. While a user is holding an object in both hands, a door may be automatically and additionally opened using another part of a body other than hands.
Refrigerator with push-to-open door opener
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet defining a food storage chamber. A door is positioned on the cabinet and is movable between a closed position and an open position. A door opener includes an outer case fixedly mounted to the cabinet. The door opener also includes an inner case within the outer case that is movable relative to the outer case. A finger extends from the door opener towards the door. The door opener also includes a sensor that detects relative movement between the inner case and the outer case. The finger is positioned in contact with an inner surface of the door when the door is in the closed position and the door opener is in a zero position. The sensor detects movement of the inner case from the zero position of the door opener towards the back portion of the cabinet along the transverse direction.
REFRIGERATION DEVICE
A refrigeration device includes: a refrigerator; a heat pipe that includes a condensation unit connected to the refrigerator and adapted to condense a refrigerant, includes an evaporation unit connected to a storage chamber and adapted to evaporate the refrigerant, and includes a piping for circulating the refrigerant between the condensation unit and the evaporation unit; a heat pipe temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the heat pipe; and a control unit that controls driving of the refrigerator based on a result of detection by the heat pipe temperature sensor. The control unit controls the refrigerator so that the temperature of the heat pipe does not fall below a standard boiling temperature of the refrigerant.
REFRIGERATOR DIAGNOSTIC METHOD AND REFRIGERATOR
Disclosed are a refrigerator diagnostic method and a refrigerator using an artificial intelligence algorithm (AI) and/or machine learning algorithm in a 5G environment connected for the Internet of things. The refrigerator diagnostic method may include determining an installation state of a refrigerator based on a power value of a compressor provided in the refrigerator and the number of revolutions of a cooling fan provided in the refrigerator, when an operating time after initial installation of the refrigerator is less than or equal to a particular value, and determining a malfunction and a cleaning state of the refrigerator based on the power value of the compressor and the number of revolutions of the cooling fan, when the operating time after initial installation of the refrigerator exceeds the particular value.
Refrigerator and control method for refrigerator and method for opening a refrigerator door
Provided is a refrigerator and control method for refrigerator and method for opening a refrigerator door. While a user is holding an object in both hands, a door may be automatically and additionally opened using another part of a body other than hands.
ROTATING SHELF ASSEMBLY FOR A REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE
A rotating shelf assembly for an appliance includes a shelf positioned within the appliance and a shelf support bracket for supporting the shelf. A rotating disk is rotatably mounted to the shelf and driven by a drive mechanism, such as an electric motor and gear assembly. The shelf support bracket may be mounted to a vertical support track and may include integrated electrical wiring that electrically couples the electric motor to a power source.
Refrigerator and method of controlling the same
This disclosure is related to a refrigerator and a method of controlling the same. The refrigerator includes a dispenser passage, a water supplier for supplying sterilizing water or rinsing water to the dispenser passage, a drain for draining the sterilizing water or the rinsing water that is supplied to the dispenser passage, and a controller for performing a sterilization cycle and controlling the water supplier and the drain to perform a rinsing cycle after completing the sterilization cycle, wherein the sterilization cycle is a cycle of keeping the sterilizing water in the dispenser passage and then draining the sterilizing water, and the rinsing cycle is a cycle of supplying the rinsing water to the dispenser passage and draining the rinsing water therefrom.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING VALVE FAILURE OF REFRIGERATOR
An apparatus is for diagnosing a valve failure of a refrigerator by detecting whether or not a first valve configured to control flow of a refrigerant circulating in a first refrigeration compartment and a second valve configured to control flow of a refrigerant circulating in a second refrigeration compartment are abnormal. The apparatus includes a first temperature sensor measuring a temperature in the first refrigeration compartment, a second temperature sensor measuring a temperature in the second refrigeration compartment, and a controller configured to determine whether or not the first valve and the second valve are abnormal by comparing changes in temperatures measured by the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor in a state where the first valve or the second valve is opened. The apparatus further includes a display configured to display the determination result indicating whether or not the first valve and the second valve are abnormal.
