A controller may combine plural pictures taken by the first camera and the second camera into a single corrected image of a region of the first compartment spanning from the first door to the second door.

Refrigerator with camera and control method for the same

A refrigerator includes a storage compartment formed in a cabinet of the refrigerator by a fixed insulation wall, the storage compartment being provided with an access opening, a door rotatably provided to the cabinet to open and close the access opening, a drawer provided in the storage compartment, and a camera. The camera is fixed to a ceiling of the storage compartment to photograph both a first region for storing of food in an external space of the drawer in the storage compartment and a second region for storing of food in an internal space of the drawer. The refrigerator also includes a controller that separates, through a capturing time of a picture containing both the first region and the second region, a first region picture and a second region picture from the picture to individually divide and store the first region picture and the second region picture.

Control system and control method of refrigeration environment in closed space based on computer vision

A control system and a control method of refrigeration in a closed space based on computer vision are provided. An image of a food, temperature and humidity information in the closed space are collected, and a type of the food is identified according to the image. The image is processed through Euler video amplification when food is not packaged to obtain surface color distribution information of the food, a state of the food is determined according to the surface color distribution information and a historical learning result, and a state prompt corresponding to the state of the food is provided to a user. Temperature and humidity in the closed space are regulated according to the state of the food. The state of the food is determined according to storage time and a known quality guarantee period when the food is packaged, and another state prompt is provided to the user.

REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

A refrigerator may include: a storage compartment; a cold air duct; a fan disposed in the cold air duct; a sterilizing lamp configured to sterilize air supplied to the storage compartment through the cold air duct; a contamination sensor for detecting a contamination level in the storage compartment; a first temperature sensor for detecting a first temperature of the sterilizing lamp; a second temperature sensor for detecting a second temperature of the storage compartment; and a controller, configured to: control the fan and the sterilizing lamp; determine a sterilization intensity based on the contamination level; determine a rotation speed of the fan and an input voltage of the sterilizing lamp corresponding to the rotation speed of the fan, based on the sterilization intensity; and adjust the input voltage of the sterilizing lamp based on the first temperature of the sterilizing lamp or the second temperature of the storage compartment.

REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

A refrigerator and a control method therefor. The refrigerator includes a main body including a storage chamber, a door, a camera located in at least one of the body and the door to capture at least one of the storage chamber and the pantry, an output portion, a memory, and a processor that, based on introducing of an item to or withdrawing of the item from one of the storage chamber and the pantry is detected, controls the output portion to provide first feedback, obtains information about a storage location of the item that is detected, through the image captured by the camera, controls the output portion to provide second feedback including information about the storage location of the item, obtains information about the item that is detected, and controls the output portion to provide third feedback including the information about the item that is detected.

METHOD OF COOLING A DELI PAN IN A REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE
20250314414 · 2025-10-09 ·

A method of operating a refrigerator appliance, the refrigerator appliance comprising a chilled chamber, an auxiliary compartment positioned within the chilled chamber, an evaporator duct containing an evaporator, an evaporator fan for selectively urging a flow of primary air through the evaporator duct and into the chilled chamber, an auxiliary duct providing fluid communication between the evaporator duct and the auxiliary compartment, and an auxiliary fan for selectively urging a flow of auxiliary air from the evaporator duct, through the auxiliary duct, and into the auxiliary compartment. The method includes operating the evaporator fan at a first speed to provide the flow of primary air into the chilled chamber, receiving a request to cool the auxiliary compartment, operating the auxiliary fan to urge the flow of auxiliary air into the auxiliary compartment, and operating the evaporator fan at a second speed, the second speed being higher than the first speed.

REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME DURING A VACATION MODE

A cooler assembly includes an insulted main container and a pump assembly configured to pump contents of the main container through a tube to a spigot. An electronic control board includes a pressure-sensing switch that senses pressure differentials or fluid movement when the spigot is opened and closed, causing a triggering event. Triggering events are used to activate and deactivate the pump to dispense fluid from the main container.

Refrigerator and control method thereof

In a refrigerator and control method thereof according to the present disclosure, when a load operation is terminated and a normal storage operation is performed, a re-input prevention control is performed to prevent the load operation from being performed even if an operation start condition of the load operation is satisfied. During the re-input prevention control, when a re-input prevention stop condition is satisfied, the re-input prevention control is controlled to be stopped. In this way, it is possible to prevent over-cooling of a first storage compartment, which may be caused by continuous input of the load operation, and respond smoothly to the corresponding load when a large load is input.
