Method for Producing Salts With a Reduced Water of Crystallisation Content
The invention relates to a method for drying salts with a water of crystallisation content in convective apparatuses that can additionally be indirectly heated. The invention is primarily characterised in that the drying process takes place with a moisture content of the drying gas above a determined level. The gas surrounding the salt particles during the drying process therefore has a specific humidity. In this way, the rate of drying is positively influenced.
Material agitator
Methods and devices for agitating material. In some embodiments, an agitator is positioned in a receptacle to agitate material therein. The agitator may include a shaft, an arm extending from the shaft, and at least one knife extending from the arm. In some embodiments, the agitator may further include one or more agitator elements operably connected to at least one knife.

Drier
A drying device for a mixture of a liquid and one or more solids, having a receiving container for the mixture, a rotor that is situated with one section of its circumference in the receiving container, and a drive device for rotatively driving the rotor, the rotor having a plurality of flat entrainment elements, characterized in that the entrainment elements have a radial orientation with respect to a rotational axis of the rotor, wherein at least some of the entrainment elements have a configuration in which relatively narrow entrainment elements alternate with relatively wide entrainment elements in the circumferential direction of the rotor, and/or at least some of the entrainment elements are provided with a plurality of through openings.
Drying of material
There is provided a multi-module counterflow drying apparatus (100) for drying material, the apparatus (100) comprising: a material inlet (102); a material outlet (104); a heat inlet (108) for inputting heat to the apparatus such that the heat traverses the apparatus in the opposite direction than the material; and a plurality of mutually interchangeable modules (110) stacked on top of each other, wherein the material is configured to move in the apparatus from one module to another such that the movement direction of the material in a given module is opposite to the movement direction of the material in a module above or below, wherein each module (110) comprises: movable paddles (210) configured to discontinuously move the material forward in the module (110).
Multiple intermittence beehive grain dryer
MULTIPLE INTERMITTENCE BEEHIVE GRAIN DRYER, refers to a dryer of seeds and other agricultural products that can be a constructive format honeycomb type dryer designed to provide a unprecedented process of multiple intermittence during fast, gentle, non-aggressive drying process of grains and seeds through complete and safe removal of accumulated moisture, being divided into the following stages: drying-resting-drying-resting-drying, and so on until drying is complete. Exposure time to drying air is monitored and allows recirculation of humid air, it also allows batch or continuous drying with a thermally insulated plenum that removes dirty humid air located in the bottom section, without releasing it directly into the environment, with advantages of low production cost, dry grain of much higher quality, better energy efficiency, environmentally friendly and capable of virtually eliminating any accidental risks.
Condenser assembly for an apparatus for removing liquid from a suspension
A condenser assembly comprises: a main cabinet; one or more filters mounted to a filter frame that is moveable between a first (operating) position within the main cabinet and a second (maintenance) position substantially outside of the main cabinet; and a condenser box that is moveable between a first (operating) position within the main cabinet and a second (maintenance) position substantially outside of the main cabinet. In some applications, the condenser assembly is part of an apparatus for removing liquid from a suspension.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS LYOPHILIZATION
A method and apparatus for the continuous sublimation of a substance includes cascading a material containing a substance capable of sublimation, such as water, between a plurality of trays vertically stacked within a processing zone provided within a processing chamber. A substantially atmospheric environment is maintained within the processing zone at a temperature whereby the substance sublimes forming a sublimate within the environment. The environment containing the sublimate is contacted with a drying agent such as a desiccant to maintain the environment whereby the substance sublimes at substantially atmospheric pressure and at the controlled temperature.
APPARATUS FOR THE TREATMENT OF SOLVENT EXTRACTION RESIDUE
The invention relates to an apparatus for the treatment of spent material said treatment including the desolventisation and toasting of said spent material (DT) to yield desolventized spent material and/or the drying and cooling of said desolventized spent material (DC) to yield meal and/or their combination (DTDC), said apparatus being made of stacked trays supporting said spend material said apparatus being equipped with means to provide at least one fluid phase going through said spent material, wherein at least a portion of the said at least one fluid phase is pulsed through said spent material.
