Permanent magnet induction heating system and magnetic dehydrator
09618264 · 2017-04-11 ·

A device and method for dehydrating products, through gasifying the humidity in the air or on any wet element through the application of air, heat and magnetic fields. Such a process would be useful for the drying of clothing, grain, food and other industrial uses. In a separate implementation, measure addition of moisture to the air or gas in the system could be used to generate hydrogen and/or oxygen via a gas separator, such as the membrane units in use today. The magnetic fields used may be built using electromagnetic and/or permanent magnets.

Drying device

A drying device that includes a drying furnace having an inlet and an outlet, a drying unit installed inside the drying furnace and for drying a to-be-dried object, a number of upper and lower rolls alternately arranged at internal top and bottom portions of the drying furnace, and a roll driver connected to the plurality of upper and lower rolls and moving the upper rolls upwardly and the lower rolls downwardly, wherein after the to-be-dried object is transferred from the inlet to the outlet, the roller driver moves the upper rolls downwardly, moves the lower rolls upwardly, or moves the upper rolls downwardly and the lower rolls upwardly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHANGING THE CHEMISTRY IN HEAPS, PILES, DUMPS AND COMPONENTS

A method for storing hazardous materials within a pile by installing a drill casing a perforated casing section into a well installed in the pile, inserting a pipe or hose having an opening into the drill casing, aligning the opening of the pipe or hose with at least one perforated casing section, sealing the drill casing to isolate air or fluid flowing into or out of the drill casing so that the air or fluid only flows into or out of the drill casing through the at least one perforated casing section, pulling or pushing air or fluid through the pipe or hose at a pressure sufficient to open void spaces within the pile, and injecting hazardous materials through the pipe or hose at pressure sufficient to cause the hazardous materials to fill the void spaces.

System and method for drying grit used for abrasive blasting
09592587 · 2017-03-14 ·

A method and method for processing grit used for abrasive blasting may include receiving grit blasted onto a surface, where the grit includes moisture content. Air in which the grit being recycled is being processed may be heated. The moisture content may be evaporated from the grit using the heated air to produce dry recycled grit. The dried recycled grit may be stored.

Methods for desolventization of bagasse

Provided herein are methods for the removal of organic solvents from wet bagasse. The use of the methods result in dried bagasse that contains no more than 1 weight percent organic solvents.

Apparatus and method for improved control of heating and cooling of substrates

Methods and apparatus for processing substrates and controlling the heating and cooling of substrates are described. A radiation source providing radiation in a first range of wavelengths heats the substrate within a predetermined temperature range, the substrate being absorptive of radiation in a second range of wavelengths within the first range of wavelengths and within the predetermined temperature rang. A filter prevents at least a portion of radiation within the second wavelength range from reaching the substrate.

Apparatus for providing and directing heat energy in a process chamber

Apparatus for providing heat energy to a process chamber are provided herein. The apparatus may include a process chamber body of the process chamber, a solid state source array having a plurality of solid state sources, disposed on a first substrate, to provide heat energy to the process chamber to heat a target component disposed in the process chamber body, and at least one reflector disposed on the first substrate proximate to one or more of the plurality of solid state sources to direct heat energy provided by the one or more of the plurality of solid state sources towards the target component.

Phase change material injection device and structure for removing moisture of head lamp with the same

Disclosed is a phase change material injection device, which is disposed in a housing or a vehicle headlamp in which a predetermined heat source is provided. The phase change material injection device is configured to eject a phase change material, which has been changed into a gas from liquid by heating of the heat source, into the housing, and may include: i) a container storing the phase change material in a liquid state; ii) a discharge unit disposed at the container for discharging a predetermined amount of the phase change material in a gas state; and iii) a valve unit having an ejection port connecting the discharge unit with the inside of the housing, disposed at the container, the valve unit selectively opening and closing the ejection port based on the internal temperature of the housing.
