SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING HEAT IN A BATTERY POWERED BLOW DRYER
A battery powered blow dryer having a novel heating element technology that can be powered by an attached battery pack. The heating element includes an infrared light bulb that emits high heat with relatively low power consumption compared to current methods. The present invention patent also describes a unique configuration of battery cells to optimally perform the task of blow drying hair.
GAS DISPERSER FOR A SPRAY DRYER AND METHODS
In the gas disperser (3), a flow conditioning device (5, 6) is located in the inlet duct section (32). The flow conditioning device comprises a hole plate (5) and a flow straightener (6) positioned in parallel with and at a distance (h) in the axial direction (axd) from the downstream side of the hole plate (5). The hole plate (5) has a predefined hole plate thickness (tp) in the axial direction (axd) and each flow straightener (6) has a predefined flow straightener length (Is) in the axial direction (axd), the flow straightener length (Is) being substantially larger than the hole plate thickness (tp).

Method and apparatus for the controlled conveyance of a workpiece through a fluidized bed dryer
The present invention relates to the use of a mechanical apparatus to convey a workpiece through a fluidized bed dryer. In particular, the invention relates to a single or multiple stage vibrating fluidized drag conveyor having spaced apart conveyor paddles attached to a continuous chain or a similar device, and driven by a variable frequency motor drive. The invention is of particular applicability in the case of low-density workpieces where chaotic motion of air may disrupt or reverse the orderly flow of workpieces through the dryer.
APPARATUS FOR DRYING FOOD PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to an apparatus for drying food products, for example fruit or eggs, comprising; —a tunnel section as dryer compartment (10) with supply unit and discharge unit for dryer gas, with the dryer gas being blown on the products substantially from above, and —a roller conveyor (1) with at least one row of supply rollers (3) for thereon conveying wet products in a conveying direction T to, through, and away from the dryer compartment (10), wherein the dryer compartment (10) comprises for the row a corresponding at least one ceiling element (14) with a curvature in line with that of the product, while in the ceiling element (14) at least one slit (15) is provided, directed substantially transversely to the conveying direction T, for blowing in the dryer gas.
CLEANING APPARATUS, SURFACE TREATMENT APPARATUS, AND CLEANING METHOD
A cleaning apparatus 200 is provided with: a treatment tank 10, which defines a treatment space 15 by the inner surfaces (11a, 11b) thereof and on the inner surfaces of which a water-repellent coating has been applied; a cleaning liquid supply device with nozzles 24a (cleaning liquid spray nozzles) for spraying, into the treatment space 15, a mist of a cleaning liquid CL for cleaning surface treatment processing liquid PL adhering to the surface of a metal part S and/or processing liquid PL adhering to the inner surface; and a drying device, which comprises an air compressor 23a and is for supplying drying air compressed by the air compressor 23a to the treatment space 15.
Apparatuses and Methods for Drying Hay Bales
A hay bale dryer features a support frame inside of which there is delimited at least one bale space and at least one manifold carrying a set of aeration spears movable between a deployed position penetrating the bale space and a retracted position withdrawn therefrom. The manifold is moved between the positions by way of an actuator driven linkage, and the aeration spears comprise hollow elongated bodies of tapered thickness toward their distal ends for more effective penetration of the hay bales. A manufacturing method uses a hydraulic press to produce the hollow elongated bodies from lengths of originally cylindrically pipe. Horizontal feeding tables and upright feeding racks feature displaceable bale movers for moving queued hay bales along one or more queuing lanes into one or more bale dryers.
Directional air apparatuses, system, and methods of using the same
The present invention relates to accelerated directional airflows for use in, preferably, paint booths. Specifically, the present invention relates to apparatuses, systems, and methods of using the same that create an accelerated directional airflow while eliminating the requirement of having multiple vents, nozzles, hoses, and the like. Even more specifically, the present invention controls airflow more efficiently, requires fewer parts, and costs less to use and maintain. Specifically, the accelerated directional airflows are useful in paint booths for drying painted parts and for ventilation.
CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR WOOD PROCESSING AND A METHOD THERETO
The invention relates to a wood conditioning system comprising: a first chamber; a second chamber; at least one air conveyor device for circulating air between the first chamber and the second chamber; the second chamber comprising at least one device for spraying water substantially against a direction of the circulated air. Some aspects of the invention relate to a method for wood conditioning.
Method for controlling dryer
A method for controlling a dryer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an operation of, when a dusting mode is selected and a start command is input, rotating a drying drum at a first rotational speed V1 in a first direction for a first set time; an operation of, after the first set time elapses, rotating the drying drum at a second rotational speed V2 in a second direction opposite to the first direction for a first set time; and an operation of rotating a drying fan along with the drying drum, when the drying drum rotates in the second direction, dust staining on an object introduced into the drying drum is separated from the object, and when the drying drum rotates in the first direction, the separated dust is discharged to the outside of the drying drum by a forced air flow generated by the drying fan.
