LOW-TEMPERATURE, EJECTOR ASSISTED DRYER APPARATUS, METHODS AND DEPLOYMENT THEREOF
The invention discloses method and system of drying renewable sources of energy and raw material. The drying process is carried out under partial vacuum conditions and at lower temperatures than conventional dryers. The temperature to dry the material and the rate of water removal are controlled by regulating the degree of vacuum and the intensity of heat input. A method for drying material to moisture content below 10% by weight, comprises introducing into an ejector a stream with a pressure above ambient pressure, creating partial vacuum in a drying chamber through the secondary nozzle of the ejector when the stream enters the ejector and provides the motive pressure to the primary nozzle of the ejector, said drying chamber having an inlet into which a wet material is introduced and an outlet for taking out the dried material after the drying treatment, drying the wet material using low temperature waste heat.
Container-interior drying device and container-interior drying method
Provided are a container-interior drying device and a container-interior drying method capable of shortening drying time and improving the efficiency in an entire filling line without causing container deformation, the device having a simple configuration and requiring little space for installation. The device includes a gas ejector nozzle (110) capable of being inserted into an interior of a container through an opening of the container, a suction mechanism (120) capable of facing the opening of the container, and a gas supply unit (130) configured to supply the gas ejector nozzle (110) with gas, wherein gas is ejected into the interior of the container from the gas ejector nozzle (110), and the suction mechanism (120) positioned so as to face the opening of the container sucks out gas through the opening of the container.
CATHODIC PROTECTION FOR WOOD VENEER DRYERS AND METHOD FOR REDUCING CORROSION OF WOOD VENEER DRYERS
A cathodic protection system for use with a wood veneer dryer is provided. The system includes a DC power supply and an anode mounted inside the dryer in a position to be electrolytically coupled to metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer when an electrolytic medium is present inside the dryer. The electrolytic medium comprises a high-humidity atmosphere. A method for reducing the corrosion of metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer is further provided. The method comprises mounting an anode inside the dryer in a position to be electrolytically coupled to the metallic structures or surfaces inside the dryer when an electrolytic medium is present. Wood veneer is conveyed through the dryer and heated to a temperature sufficient to produce a high-humidity atmosphere inside the dryer. A controlled amount of current is supplied by the DC power supply to electrolytically couple the anode to the metallic structures or surfaces.
WATER-BASED COATING COMPOSITIONS AND SYSTEMS WITH IMPROVED SAG RESISTANCE AND RELATED METHODS
The present invention provides a system for monitoring and controlling an industrial paint operation, where a five-sided intermodal shipping container is painted with a water-based coating composition. The system includes a paint application system, a drying system with a chamber configured to handle one or more intermodal shipping containers, and modules for monitoring and controlling the application of paint and the drying of the applied paint.
Systems and methods for sanitizing surfaces
Systems and methods for sanitization of surfaces, such as hands, are provided. In general, the described techniques utilize a system including a housing having an active agent receptacle in fluid communication with at least one nozzle, and an air pump in fluid communication with the at least one nozzle. The system also includes a control module configured to control the delivery of an active agent as an aerosol spray through the at least one nozzle in a delivery dose. The delivery dose is expelled onto the surface as a thin uniform layer and dried such that the entire surface sanitization process is completed in less than or equal to 5 seconds. The active agent receptacle can be configured to receive a removable and replaceable cartridge carrying the active agent.
Method and device for storing containers having an encapsulated fuel rod or a fuel rod section
A method for encapsulating a fuel rod or a fuel rod section in a container includes inserting the fuel rod or fuel rod section into the container. One of the ends of the container is connected to a purging-gas line. The container is dehydrated and purged by use of a purging gas. The ends of the container are connected to a bypass line in such a way that a closed gas circuit is produced and a hot gas is circulated in the gas circuit until the absolute moisture content reaches an end value at which the absolute moisture content no longer rises. The container is disconnected from the gas circuit and subsequently the container is closed in a fluid-tight manner at both ends.
Drying device
An apparatus for drying an item includes a container including a width and a height, an insert including a planar surface positioned parallel to the width at a first point along the height, wherein the insert surface includes a plurality of openings, a perforated tray positioned parallel to the width at a second point along the height between the insert and a bottom of the container, and a desiccant material positioned on the tray.
FORCED AIR APPARATUS
A forced air apparatus has an air blower, an air conduit and a diffusion body. The air blower has an air intake, an air outlet and a blower motor. The air conduit has a first end and a second end. The first end is connectable to the air outlet of the air blower. The diffusion body has an air conduit connection and at least one air outlet. The air conduit connection allows for removable connection of the second end of the air conduit to the diffusion body such that air flows from the air blower to the diffusion body. The at least one air outlet allows air to flow out of the diffusion body
Sports equipment drying rack with odor mitigating enclosure
Sports equipment racks of the present disclosure may include an enclosure having odor mitigating features. Sports equipment racks may include a drip pan for retaining liquid that may drip from associated wet sports equipment hanging on the rack. Sports equipment racks may include forced ventilation configured to draw air external from an associated enclosure.
Moving air curtain for toilet bidet dryer
A dryer for use with a bidet is disclosed. In one embodiment, a moveable dryer wand emits an air curtain as the dryer wand moves across the bidet bowl beneath the user after cleansing. We further disclose a dryer which produces a second air current which moves air in a different direction than that emitted by the dryer wand and further controls the movement of excess water remaining on a user after cleansing. A dryer that includes moveable dryer wand used in coordination with a moveable bidet wand are also disclosed and claimed herein.
